We book this hotel via email. We were shocked by the lodge as I asked them the way to pay deposit, they mentioned that no need to pay deposit. Previously book one lodge in Penang which they told us we must pay the deposit by which date if not the room will be forfeited. We reach Kuching airport and pick... More

I only wanted to stay for 4 nights and ended up staying 7 instead. Partly because Kuching is a really nice place from where you can do some great day trips and partly because I enjoyed my stay at the lodge. The price for one bed in a 3 bed dorm is only 20 Ringit with wifi and a basic... More

Is in a good location, opposite waterfront. Close to shops and tourist information centre which is not open on weekends. Close to shops. Bus that leaves for bako national park is just across the road and down a bit. You can catch a bus to sentral for 1rm 50 and from there it is a 15 minute walk to the... More

A great spot for backpackers and budget travelers. The location is great - riverfront and close to everything interesting in the city. The facilities are basic - simple rooms, air cond, very good wi fi, hot shower. Also a very nice common area, TV, not bad collection of DVDs, books and magazines. Breakfast (toast bread, jam and butter, coffee and... More

The location is so good that it is very convenient to all the major sights. To the large shopping mall, (and its nice food court) is only 5 minutes' walk away; Main post office is just around the corner; The best thing is that Riverfront promenade is just across the street, and there are many performance and vendors, especially at... Great place to stay, nice location, staff were very knowledgable and willing to assist with local sights, buses and booking taxis. The lodge had a very nice atmosphere and I would highly recommend for a few days in Kuching. Only issue is the extremely thin walls and you can hear your neighbour quite easily. Also most of the rooms don't... More

Wo Jai lodge is located on the waterfront across from the Parliament building. This is a perfect location for exploration of the old part of Kuching. The staff were very friendly, even letting us check out late for no extra charge. They provided a hair dryer and an electrical adapter. They called a taxi for us when we departed. The... More

I arrived in Kuching in early morning and the staff checked me in right away without asking me to wait for regular check-in time. Although I stayed in a room on the ground floor but it was very quiet, I did not hear any traffic noise. I must say the location could not be any better; it is central to... More

This is a wonderful place to stay in the centre of Kuching. I agree with everyone who has commented on how friendly and helpful the staff are - they are great at giving advice on things to do and getting around the area, but they are also great guys to sit and hang out with. The location is ideal, right... More
