We had booked this hotel having read good reviews. What a real pleasure it was to stay in a hotel with such friendly staff, they really were so helpfull and happy. The rooms were very clean and furnished and decorated in a boutique style and the location was perfect for exploring Kuching, everything within easy walking distance. Well Done Hotel... More

Since my first stay at the Batik Boutique Hotel in December 2010 I've stayed there on each of my six subsequent return visits to Kuching. There are very few hotels that really seem like home, but that's how I feel when at the Batik. I generally stay in a front-facing room, which is spacious, light-filled and quiet. I love everything... We checked into this hotel in conjunction with the Kuching Marathon. Firstly, the check-in was smooth. The room was clean and the location was in the middle of town. Breakfast was simple yet filing. The hotel is perfect for a quiet getaway for couples and family. Toilet is clean and bright. We requested for breakfast to be served at 5am... More

What an amazing hotel and friendly staff! We stayed here for 4 days in August and we would definitely book this hotel again! The room is very spacious, clean and the best shower and bed we have had in Malaysia! Also the breakfast is very good. The staff is super friendly, especially Jolyn, who gave us great tips about our... More

We chose to stay at Batik Boutique, because of the reviews from Trip Advisor. The hotel was good, but we was a little disappointed when we first saw it. The rooms was good, my daughter had a room with a 4 poster bed, but she was a little disappointed, as there were no proper windows only a small ong window... More

We spent in the Hotel 3 nights.. What should I say.. Employees are rude, rooms are dirty (for example they didn't change our towels for the entire stay), building maintenance is poor and price is not in line with the expectation and the level of the Hotel.. Call it a Boutique Hotel it's quite ridiculous. Stay away

This hotel was our first stop in our trip through Malaysia in june 2014. The location was superb between some nice bars and restaurants and walking distance from all Kuchings attractions. The welcome was great with some small refreshments from the friendly staff. The room was spacious, clean and with a good bed. At first we thought the AC was... More

We stayed here back in April 2014, the staff were exceptionally friendly, very helpful and we felt very welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. The rooms are spacious, very clean, well decorated and funky. The location is great for getting on tours, shopping, eating, or just wondering through Kuching. I can highly recommend Batik Boutique

Our time at the Batik Boutique hotel was a highlight of our travel through Borneo. The cozy atmosphere, the clean rooms with their special bathrooms and a nice chill out area made it easy to relax after a busy day. Jo-Lynn, as well as the whole team were very attentive and always there for a friendly chat and good travel... More

Such a quirky, funky and charming hotel. Loved the design of the rooms - and they are spacious. You get an iPod dock, very nice tea and coffee selection, and the laundry service was the fastest I ever had! The staff were very warm and friendly - and as other reviewers have said - it's like staying with your own... More
