Excellent place for a stay in Kuching. 5 minute walk away from waterfront, quiet at night. Staff very helpful and attentive. Fast wifi in rooms. Rooftop terrace serves very nice food and drinks. Happy hour 2 for 1 on beers and good cocktails. Breakfast is buffet style and was delicious! Comfy beds and decent shower. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay... More

4 star quality with less than 4 star price. Excellent service with personal touch from the hotel ownder and her father. Love family room which is spacious and clean. Love the small souvenir shop which sells at reasonable price. We will not hesitate to go back to this hotel.

Wow, what are you all smoking that you can give this hotel 5 stars? We stayed one night. When we first arrived, the lobby was smelly, the halls were smelly, the room was smelly, though the air-conditioning did eventually help that. The room was small, the bed not particularly comfortable, and the bathroom OK. Our room faced the back, overlooking... More

I liked this hotel the first time around so i thought i'd try it again. I went for a 3 nite stay for hiking (kubah national park) and rafting. I was pleasantly surprised by the new menu...very nice and full of healthy options (such as vegan i noticed...which i am not btw). The breakfast, as always, was very good and... More

These comments apply to a "deluxe" room on the fourth floor, for a stay in February. Positives: - comfortable bed - quiet room with good A/C - friendly, accommodating staff - good buffet breakfast: good range of options, frequently replenished - good shower - very reasonable price by international standards Negatives: - no hot water in the sink in the... Our tour group stayed at the friendly, well situated small hotel for three days. Although our bedrooms were small with inadequate storage/ hanging space it was air conditioned, clean and with wifi. There was a lobby to sit in, near the cafe/restaurant which provided satisfactory breakfasts. We were not dressed for, looking for or paying for four or five star... More

Booked for 3 nights based on trip advisor reviews and recommendations from friends. Paid for a superior room about £33 per night. Hotel was in a good location for food. 5 _10 mins to water front and 20 to Gambia st. Rooms were clean and spacious, all the essentials. Lovely roof top bar. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast.... More

Kuching is not full of great hotels so Limetree stands out in the small hotel category. It's in a good location and seems to be well managed. I got lots of help with tours (that I ultimately didn't go on because of monsoon rains). The restaurant is good with healthy and vegetarian options -- neither of which are easy to... More

The LimeTree is an extremely pleasant hotel with a good location (five minute walk to the Esplenade at the waterfront). The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and modern, they have excellent wi-go coverage throughout the hotel and they offer a range of tour packages at competitive rates. The lime theme is done well, and they make... More
