We stumbled onto this lodge while taking a stroll along Main Bazaar. Curiosity did not kill the cat but we changed our accommodation straight away fr Wo Jia Lodge to Kuching Waterfront Lodge immediately! Took an ensuite 3-bedded room (#102) located at ground floor. It was perfect, w lots of natural light and located at the back (i.e. quiet &... More

Right on the waterfront with Chinatown a block away, oodles of shops and cafes on the doorstep and tours, museums etc all within easy walking distance, this comfortable hostel was our home for a week. Our room was adequate, a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, TV and WiFi; the bathroom had a shower over the toilet, and in some rooms... More

We stayed here for two nights and we were warmly greeted by the lady on the desk. The room was small but clean and had all we needed. The people on the desk (there were three during our time there) were very helpful and friendly regardless of the time of day. They advised us on how to get to Semegoggh... More

Lovely staff and good clean rooms make this a really good value place. The old shophouse lobby is charming and the place retains the old world feel throughout. Was given a discount without asking for it and was looked after very well by all the staff.

The room was very small and there was no closet so you must put your luggage on the floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was very good, near the boardwalk. Dont forget to recive a passwsord for the wifi, which was very good.

The Kuching Waterfront Hotel is a great place to stay. It is an airy old shop house on the Main Bazaar in the heart of Kuching's old shopping street and on the Sarawak River waterfront. The building is traditionally decorated, with lots of wood and rustic furniture. For all of its rustic charm, the rooms are well appointed: free WiFi,... More

I love this B&B for the following reasons: 1) Great location. 2) Great value for money (I noticed some comments about weird furniture or damp room. Well. If "good looking" furniture is what you are looking for, maybe you can try Hilton, at least three times the price). 3) The room I got was VERY charming. My window overlooks the... More

We stayed here twice, but only one night each time on different rooms, and we will do it again. It's not the best hotel but it has what you need for a decent price. Location: The hotel is well located, you will have lots of point of interest around, two big shopping centres, the national Parks office across the street,... More

Well located, basic but charming guesthouse. The Lodge is a former spice trader's shop house and the entrance and reception area has lots of historic character. The rooms and breakfast are basic, as you would expect for the price but it is kept very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's well located and doesn't suffer from too much... More

We stayed here for 5 nights as a couple. The hotel has heritage decor and furniture. The garden room we were in was damp and had a very strong musty smell pretty poor. Wi fi was not available only down in the lobby area. Plus side the staff were very friendly and helpful. Don't get to excited about the breakfast... More
