Manukan is beautiful and the accomodation Sutuera sanctuary lodges was really good. Nice little houses, very serviceminded staff and the beach great. The only drawback with the accomodation is that they have serious electrical problem daytime, some days we could not even use the toilett in our room between 10 am and 5 pm. Manukan Island is beautiful and very worth a day trip. The snorkeling was some of the best I've ever seen. But don't bother spending the night on the island. The only accomodations are run by Sutera Sanctuary Lodges. They are incredibly overpriced and the bathrooms are disgusting--at least they were in the Hilltop Lodge where we stayed.
