We stayed with our two offsprinig aged 16 & 23 for four nights at the start of our 17 day holiday. The place was clean, staff very helpful, rooms simple but clean with air conditioning. The taxi to KK was a 20 min trip costing £10 or a bus outside for very little. The pool was small but hardly anyone... More

This is a great place to stay if you just want to unwind and chill by the seaside for a day or two after all the busy sightseeing and shopping in KK. The price is right for the accommodation we got (a chalet with aircond and ensuite bathroom); it's generally clean and drinking water is free, as is the wi-fi... More

After travelling for a while, and doing a lot of diving, I wanted a few days of pure beach time to get a tan before going home. This was the perfect place. The hotel is quiet, with a reasonable swimming pool, and just on the beach. The beach isn't stunning, but it is sandy and quiet, and fine to spend... More

The staff was great. Laundry is cheap - 20 MYR for a big bag of laundry. Lobby had computer that can be used to check internet. It was 2 MYR every 30 minutes, but the hotel staff doesn't really strictly keep the time. The hotel is located quite far from the city, and it will cost 50 MYR one way... More

Great place to relax... room's are ok but try to avoid the room below the kitchen ... have a great breakfast by the sea ... talk a evening walk while the sun sets. They have there restaurant, but if you don't like the food u can just walk to the next lodge as they too have a good restaurant.

The beach is trashy, the food is lacking, bathroom is shared, room is basic. Not much reason to go here. Staff are nice though.

of the 4 nights we spent here, there were loud parties at the neighboring hotel for two of them. one lasted until about 1am playing loud clubbing music, the other lasted until about 11:30 playing sappy wedding music. the staff were nice about it and comped one night. our room smelled horribly musty. we spent most of our time on... First, before I pan the place a little, let me say that, as others have said, the view from the restaurant is incredible, the food itself is quite reasonable, and the staff were very accommodating. However, the rooms themselves are - to be charitable - quaint. We stayed in one of the stand-alone cottages and, while the room itself was... More

We stayed 3 nights in August and it was perfect for us. We enjoyed having a laid back place to sleep in, eat and use as a base to go into town. We didn't find the location a problem, in fact we enjoyed it. Getting the local bus is quick, very cheap and interesting. Obviously if you are looking for... More

We stayed at this hotel for the final night of our Intrepid trip around Borneo. It is located on the water and offers a beautiful sunset. Our room was located directly under the restaurant and although it offered a great view over the water, there was constant noise going on upstairs - Which made it not very relaxing at all!... More
