I was here on last December 2013, I got a room near to restaurant and in front of the beach. I like it so much! however the food is a bit expensive here, better go to nearby town to eat. Small family Resort with swimming pool and nice beach.Perfect holiday for those who want to have affordable price with 3star... More

Our family of four stayed five nights in January. Perfect for what we were hoping for, a relaxing few days at a budget family owned and operated beach resort. All pretty simple and very laid back, and the family touch is obvious everywhere, it's all very 'homely', beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff. We booked two deluxe interconnecting... More

In a word this place has lots of potential. Great location but very tired. Clearly a budget hotel which is fine but you expect everything to work and instructions clear. Took half an hour to get shower hot, curtains in full view of everyone did not provide privacy or block out at night, Wifi only in restaurant or reception, toilet... More

Decided to getaway to nature and end up we stayed for 1 night in this hotel. The location just nice 20km away from the KK town. Room for 3pax & costs rm90. Affordable! However, we didn't get a room with sea view. It's ok. Still we could hear soothing sounds of the sea, splashing waves accompany us during at night.... More

Tripadvisor is spot on - this is a really good place, provided you know what it is and what it isn't. For us it was perfect because it delivered exactly what we were looking for - location is about 20 minutes south of KK by car (about RM50 for a 7-seater taxi as we are family of 6, maybe bit... More

Don't expect from Borneo a lot, it's really about the nature and diving. The Seaside it's great value for the money. We wanted to spend there few days and ended up with about 9 days :) Eating in the resort reatuarant (great simple menu, everything fresh), swiminng, drinking from a fresh cut coconut, making trips to the town. We didn't... More

We stayed in room 1 which is probably the best. Ask for a sea view. It has lots of space and an unbelievably good view of the sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was good and cheap. Breakfast is complimentary with normally only fruit and toast (with great marmalade) on offer. Another toaster would be... Stayed from 13-15 April 2013 in the family room. The rating is positive because we enjoyed ourselves as we knew exactly what to expect. So what you need to expect is the following: The good - Privacy (not many other travellers around) - Great sunset views - Reasonably priced food and fresh cocunuts to order - The private covered sandplay... Set in a large section of land from the main road onto the beach. We stayed in one of the bungalows for 80.000 MYR a night. Basically furnished. TV but no English speaking channels. Clean with attached bathroom with hot water. Free wifi and free drinking water. Our bungalow was steps away from a lovely swimming pool with sun beds.... More

I stayed three nights at the end of a busy time in Borneo, and it was perfect for a relaxing break. The pool was clean, and the surrounding sunbeds fine, though not much shade. The bar/cafe by the beach (Cecilia's) made for a very pleasant spot to sit and watch the waves or the sunset, and prices and service were... More
