I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Borneo Backpackers. It's a nice quiet, breezy place that's located right in the heart of KK, one block from Jalan Gaya, home of the Sunday market, and equal parts traditional shophouse and hip and trendy eateries and bars, and just a few blocks from the sea. In January 2013, no bedbugs in sight.

The rooms were clean and simple. The rooms have aircon which is great for the heat and humidity of Malaysia.
