Le Meridien is more than a luxurious hotel, it's a travelers dream. Attentive, curteous staff make you feel like royalty. Warm friendly people greet you at every turn, though they are not at all intrusive. Nothing is too much trouble for any staff member at any time. They made our stay a truly memorable experience. Dining is affordable and of... More

I stay here almost every time I'm in KK - either business or leisure (when I'm on leisure I use my Starwood Preferred Guest points!). The rooms are very good - spacious, very comfortable beds, nice view if you get the rooms facing the sea. Very courteous staff, although some don't speak English very well - but do be patient... The rooms are very comfortable with a beautiful view. The Starwood Lounge is sensational and well worth the extra upgrade. It is located centrally right opposite the fabulous local market. I really enjoyed using the pool, steam and sauna. It's a destination for a truly relaxing holiday. Just wished they had the Australia Network as one of their TV stations.

We stayed 6 nights at Le Meridien. The location was fantasic. Walking distance to so many places with lots of great shops and eating places close by. Tours are a reasonable price from the hotel lobby and the staff were very friendly and with great english skills. The rooms were very large and extremely clean with an abundance of shampoo,... More

Book a room with sea view. Then you can enjoy watching the very beautiful sunset from your room every evening! It is worth the money.

We had a 1 night stay in LeMeridian after 2N stay in Nexus just to have a feel living in a place right in the middle of KK. All I can is that our stay was splendid and full of suprises. We did not expect some special treat during our 1day honeymoon stay in this hotel. It was really memorable.... More

We Stayed in Kota Kinabalu and stopped at Le Meridien for Dinner at Flames with two friends from Oz. The moment we entered the hotel, Rodney asked if he could help us, he informed us of all the dinning options and made us comfortable with drinks and nibbles while we decided. After careful consideration of the menus we decided on... More

My husband and I and some of our family stayed at the Le Meridien from 15th March for eight nights. We were in KK to celebrate my brother's wedding to a local girl. After the letdown at Hilton Kuching, I was prepared for another one by Le Meridien KK, being "one of those chain hotels". I was dead wrong. The bellboy got to my bags even before I got myself out of the taxi, checking-in was a breeze, the receptionists patiently entertained my late check-out requests (yes, I made 3 requests for different... Indeed often large chain hotels might lack warmth and friendliness and I am happy we proved that is not always the case. Do let me know if you plan... More
