Stayed for 3 nights at the Le Meridien. The Hotel is in a central location close to markets and shopping areas. The room we were given was very nice with a view of the ocean. The bathroom was spacious, contained a shower and tub. Toothbrushes, soap, shampoo was provided. Water Pressure was good. The bedroom was clean and spacious and... more

Unless you want a specific room check-in is quick as well as check-out. I recommend 9th floor and upper because of the noise from the active streets and sea view to take advange of both the sunsets and the night market- Book early to get free breakfast and internet access. Be very specific when selecting and getting your room otherwise... more

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, it is very central, walking distance to the shopping malls, restaurants, Sunday markets and Jesselton wharf. The room was large, clean and very comfortable, it had great views of the harbour and the filipino market. The buffet breakfast had a large range of choices both western and asian foods. The staff were pleasant... more

We stayed at Le Meridian for a weekend of sightseeing in KK. It is located right on the waterfront, by the bars and markets, so it is in a really convenient position. We paid only £50 per night, and this is amazing value as the rooms are great, and the breakfast buffet is HUGE! The hotel also has a gorgeous... more

We stayed at le meridian for three nights at the beginning our our trip around Sabah and 1 night at the end. We thought the hotel was brilliant, the location was one of the best things about the hotel - its right opposite the night market which you must visit. Walking around the fruit and veg staff and then the... more

It was a great hotel in the best location of KK city, facing the sea. It was close to the seafront esplanade with many food outlets and night market (but the whole area was disappointing as the whole place smelled of dead rotten waste food - very unhealthy air indeed. The seafood there was expensive too as compared to the... more

Meridien was an excellent choice in KK. . great rooms overlooking the Filipino Market and the sunsets over the South China Sea were great. Room was large, free internet in rooms, around the pool and in the lobby. Rooms were wired, other areas were wifi. Lobby restaurant was excellent. huge breakfast buffet. The restaurant was celebrating the food of Malaysia... more

Hotel needs a bit of maintenance (paint chipped, vacuuming is average etc...), but pool area is nice and breakfast buffet is good (though it closes at 10am). Asking for a taxi can result in the concierge staff getting you a private taxi which costs double the price (even if you continue to ask for a normal taxi) and they can... more

Overall we had a great stay at the Le Meredian. We booked a last minute trip for the labour weekend and got a good deal. The pool is great and has good views of the sunset. Breakfast is also delicious. The only negative thing I would say is that it has a business hotel feel more than leisure hotel. more
