The location is good, just across the waterfront. You'll get great sunset views from your room (if seaview) or from the pool (2nd floor). The waterfront F&B outlets are across the street and so is the craft market. Some might be disturbed by the strong smell from the dried seafood sold in the market. Some of the conference room faces... More

5 night stay here with family. As an SPG gold, we were upgraded to a suite. I talked them into a seaview suite which was a bonus on top of the bonus of the upgrade! The room however was a bit disappointing. Toilet seat broken in the powder room, no cold water on the taps, furniture old and damaged, cigarette... More

I stayed here with a few friends as we travelled through different parts of Asia, This was one of the nicer hotels. The room had two double beds which were comfortable and the room was a good size seeing that three of us stayed there. The bathroom was a great size as well for the room and wasn't to close... More

A great old hotel with an 80's feel but in a good way. Service and food was fantastic and couldn't bee faulted, nothing was too hard for the staff. I'd highly recommend you pay an extra 30 odd dollars for the sea view executive lounge upgrade. They have a fantastic lounge overlooking the ocean on the top floor and for... More

Stayed here for a mixed vacation and business trip with my wife. We chose the hotel primarily because it's member of the Starwood group. We didn't regret our choice. The hotel is well-run. The staff is very well-trained and extremely courteous. Everyone spoke English fluently, so we had no problems communicating our preferences/requests. The location is fantastic. You can easily... Strategically located in town. With the Filipino market just across the road. So there is a whole load of choice of food around. If you come on weekends you will be able to visit the long night market just behind the hotel. Various pearl shops on which you can definitely bargain. Buffet breakfast was good with many choices to choose... More

We stayed at this hotel for two separate nights either side of a stay on Gaya Island. We have stayed at Starwood hotels before and are SPG members, so we know what to expect and like these hotels, especially the club lounges. For this reason we paid a little extra and used the one here. We like the afternoon teas... More

There was nothing I didnt like about our stay. rooms were huge, bathrooms huge! comfy beds and wonderful friendly staff! We enjoyed cocktails by the pool and cocktails in the bar area. happy hour was always a bonus! I had a sea view room, overlooking the night market. great location as well. would definitely stay here again if I was... More
