Whilst the room was adequate it was looking a bit in need of a refurb. We had a deluxe room which had a tiny window overlooking the back road so not sure what a std room was like. Breakfast was fine but oh so very very slow, probably because the staff were busy bringing in all the drinks to the... More

We were here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a central location so you can walk everywhere. The rooms are comfortable with air con, fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. There is plenty of hot water in the bathroom and shower. The staff are helpful and friendly. We even got some laundry arranged overnight, which was dealt with... More

Centrally located, good service, nice rooms. Downstairs restaurant is good quality though pricey but there is a great deal of choice within walking distance. Old Town White Coffee café opposite is very handy.

The hotel is in a very good location and is in easy walking distance of everything that KK has to offer. The rooms are very comfortable with efficient and quiet air-conditioning, fantastic water supply in the bath/shower. The restaurant attached, Kudos, is great with some very good signature dishes and efficient staff. The only comment we would make is that... More

The hotel is very nice, spacious rooms and nice decor, if you like the regal kind of approach - a bit out of date in my opinion. Also, have electronic control boxes that control lights and TV but not always working so had to call the front desk a few nights to fix the issue. Wifi is a little bit... More

Stayed here for a few nights as part of our honeymoon on Borneo in Sept 2013. The hotel is very well located for a 5min walk to all the main KK town and waterfront attractions. The room we had was huge. It was clean enough if a little tired around some edges. The aircon worked well which given we had... More

Good quality hotel in a good location for exploring KK. Easy walk to Jesselton Point for boats to the islands, and easy walk to the waterfront. We stayed in the twin rooms on the second floor which were spacious. We didn't use the in house restaurant as there are plenty of eating places along the street outside and there is... More

The oldest hotel in KK. Rooms were a good size, location is great, staff were very helpful... Located close to restaurants and bars, waterfront is not far, Gaya street market right there and the jetty is not a big walk either

The Jesselton is right in the centre of KK in the restaurant and shopping area. The rooms are of a very high 4 to 5 star standard and the staff are very helpful and happy to assist with travel arrangements. The restaurant is great with superb food and a very good breakfast, definitely worth dining in or even visiting to... More
