Agreed this hotel has a good location but its services need more improvement! Having stayed for 3 nights, not a single room cleaning/clearance of trash bins are done at all! As the other reviewers did mentioned, you need to request for cleaning services, otherwise, they assume that you do not need one at all! Even moving of furnitures in the... More

Excellent location . Its in between two restaurant and just across Ang's hotel . 10 minutes walk to Suria Sabah on your right n 15 minutes to the market on your left. All the banks are on this street . The next street is Gaya street where the Sunday market is. Rooms at lower floors can be noisy. You also... More

We spent a night in a family room for 83 ringgits. Our room faced onto a busy street but was surprisingly quiet. It won't win any design prizes, but was spacious and clean. The shower was powerful and warm (something of a rarity!), and the wifi worked fine. The central location was perfect for exploring the many wonderful eating spots... More

We had a shared twin facing street, which was noisy from traffic and Karoke till late. Room was small and scruffy, no basic maintenance had been done in bathroom let alone a good clean. It was sufficient for a couple of nights but we moved on afte that to a better hotel. Staff didn't seem to care less and there... More

I stayed in the family room. Though there's not much space to move about with a queen sized been and a single sized bed, it's just right for the money's worth. Very good choice for small budget stay-overs within the heart of the city!

During check-in,.the receptionist said she did not have our booking.I told her to recheck and she looked annoyed.but she found it. No elevator, and no help to carry our luggage to 3rd floor. No tea/coffee making facilities, TV? Can't watch anything. Bad TV/satellite..not sure. Shower was the most irritating. Water comes and goes..and leaking everywhere when we turned iton. Most shock... Tourist Hotel is in a good location in the city center. The price is cheap and the rooms are enough comfortable and clean. If you wish a room with private bath is better you go here then in the backpackers lodge.
