So much construction is currently taking place at the moment. Nevertheless, Hyatt Regency has given their best in making their guests and visitors as comfortable as possible. Polite and friendly concierge. Had a smooth-no-hassle check in at the reception. Staffs were polite and were helpful as they offered to take my luggage up to the room. (Most hotels will not... More

Upfront, this is not a resort Hotel; based in the heart of KK, with amazing views of the harbour, the sunsets to dream of, in the shopping district and walking distance to great eateries. Love this Hotel...our 2nd visit and not our last. 4 nights in a Club Room..and perhaps having Club access was the key. The Staff and chefs... More

Stayed here for a business trip last week. It is a bit pricey given that there is so much renovation work on going at the moment. The pool is still open and the hotel have done a good job in trying to keep the place functioning well. The staff are all very polite and attentive. No issues at all at... More

The best hotel in Kota Kinabalu so far as i have stayed in a few hotels around this area. I very much enjoyed the foods especially at Mosaic outlet, almost of them actually tempting and delicious... I can easily get anything I want since this hotel is next to shopping complex...

The location of the hotel is very good, close to lots of shops, bars, etc, a couple of dodgy streets around, the lady who checked us in was not very friendly, the room was spacious enough, quite modern but the overall hotel looks a bit updated, the pool is boreing but the sauna is ok, not the best hyatt I stayed in,... We booked the Hyatt as it had a good name, but seeing it ranked 7th in Kota Kinabalu I very much disagree. The breakfast buffet is 67RM each we found other places charging 15RM-20RM for the same kind of food. It's very over priced. The restaurant on the street (attached to the Hyatt) is much better and almost better prices.... More

Spent 4 nights at the KK Hyatt Regency in mid March of this year. The location was brilliant, very central, with all the amenities around and close-by. The welcome at reception was very pleasant and efficient. The room was not ready however upon arrival (5 PM) so was told to go for a meal, as didn't have lunch, but that... More

We booked 7 nights at Hyatt Regency for the middle part of our2 week honeymoon, we've been here 4 days and are disappointed. The location is ok, 10 minutes walk from many bars and restaurants. The room is lovely BUT at no point did anyone warn us about the major building work going on!! At the moment we are sitting... More

I forked out to stay at the Hyatt for one night as an ending treat after staying at the Horizon hotel for several nights in a pre-booked trip to Kota Kinabulu. The entrance is very grand and the staff are friendly. the hallways to the rooms reminded me of some kind of mansion in the 70's but the room itself... More

If you have to stay in KK centre, This hotel is highly recommended. It's very near the Filipino market, Suria mall and Jesselton pier. I was upgraded to the club room and it is very spacious, newly renovated and offers impressive sea view. I love the open bathroom concept - you can choose to close the bathroom or leave it... More
