Comfortable rooms in a good location, but the wifi was worse than useless. I had to go to the local Le Meridien hotel lobby to check my emails and when you've paid for a hotel with wifi it is rather annoying to have such inconvenience. I stayed for 4 days/nights and the wifi was consistently bad. Over 90% of the... More

Ten of our family members visited KK June 18 to 21, 2014. The room assigned to me (and my wife) was spacious and clean. I have excellent view of both the water front and Mount Kinabalu. Staffs are friendly and the breakfast is reasonably good. Best of all is the location of the hotel. There are many eateries and several... More

Rooms are spacious and well furnished. Free wifi available Good view from the breakfast area. Buffet selection is good as well. However some training rooms are rather uncomfortable and snacks served were poor. Basic hotel. Perfect for those travelling on business.

Although I stayed only for a night but room was good, spacious, clean. Food was decent although I am vegetarian they were kind enough to help us with the food requirement. Also for the breakfast I had 7am flight so they packed breakfast and gave which was really nice. Location is also good next to sea area, shipping place. Worth... More

Stayed at this hotel once in December 2013 for 2 nights. If I am not mistaken, the room that I stayed was Superior Room. My comments are as follows: 1) Hotel staffs were very kind and helpful 2) The room was very clean and I felt like home 3) The room size is just nice, not to big and not... More

Our stay at Klagan Hotel was very nice. Quite clean, nice room (with relax chair) and we were lucky to have half sea view even though we only paid for city view. Staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast (at the top floor with a very nice sea view) is a quite big buffett, where both asians and westerners... More

I stayed at the Klagan Hotel for 4 nights during a holiday in February. The location is slightly south of the city center on Warisan Square. Since Kota Kinabalu is a compact town, this should not be a big problem for most people. Anyway there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are clean and reasonably sized. The... We stayed at The Klagan for 3 nights as a base for exploring KK and doing day tours. We booked the deluxe double room which had amazing views over the ocean and a very comfortable chair to watch the sunset from! The staff were friendly and helpful. My only major criticism would be we had a stain on our bedding... More

This is my third stay in 1.5 years and even though it is a 10-15 walk to the Jalan Gaya and 20-25minutes or so to Jesselton Point Jetty I still like staying here. It's around a 5 minutes walk to the handicraft and Fillipino markets. The staff are friendly. Breakfast is adequate. Rooms are clean but the corner of the... More
