Check-in was a breeze; very helpful staff at the reception area. I was given a room on the 10th floor & was not having any high expectations. But to my surprise, the room was rather spacious with two big single beds, a big bathroom equipped with rain shower and bathtub. We had a walk-in closet as well. Totally made my... More

We were looking for something in the city centre so we could travel around on foot. Klagan was ideal for us with the waterfront restaurants opposite the hotel and surrounded by all the malls/markets and shops. Suria Sabah (a great new mall) is situated about half an hour walk away. Jetty points all nearby as well as the famous Filipino... More

The rooms are spacious, but a little musty and tired and in need of renovation. The bathrooms need refurbishing - no matter how careful we were the floor was entirely wet after a shower - and the water just wouldn't drain away. Uncomfortable and dangerous. This is an entirely dry hotel - if you want an alcoholic drink of any... More

Everything is neat and clean. However the toilet seat has stains on it. How come the housekeeping was not aware when that area must be paid attention to the most. The hotel also provides a mobile number for guests to give their feedbacks which is good!

Was not expecting as much based on reviews I'd seen. Was giving a seaside room. What a view at sunset. Could see all the people crowding to the boardwalk to see the sunset as we could just sit in our room and enjoy. Nice king bed and the red chair some criticize is actually amazingly comfortable. Great bath with separate... More

I tried to find a good hotel in very short time end of August 2014. Most of the good price hotel were fully book. This Klagan hotel also full via booking.com, agoda & telephone call. But I managed to book via Hotelopia.com. It just a 3 star hotel but the price are very high. But once I entered the lobby... More

Good location, within walking distance to the markets, waterfront, eateries, malls. Room was pretty spacious for hotel of its class. Neat and clean too. Staffs were very accomodative. For the price and service, it's worth!!!

I stayed in this hotel a few years back when it was under a different name i.e. Imperial International Hotel. I stayed again recently for business function. Most things maintained in place: good services, rooms are clean, facilities are well maintained and of course its ideal location bring central in KK and close to everywhere. The red revolving couch is... More

Red distinctive eye-catching couch caught my attention immediately. open up the curtain, you will see the sea filled with boats, sun set on this beautiful coast. Internet Wifi connection is not too bad. High ceiling in my room. I missed the breakfast due to a morning flight out but the receptionist offered to-go. Power point is good and working. No... More
