We stayed here for one night each side of our Mt Kinabalu climb and it was great. The staff were absolutely lovely and helpful with recommendations for dinner. The room was huge and very comfortable. The only thing I would mention is the very loud music in the concourse outside the room. Sounded a bit like a shopping mall. Was... More

We booked a family room with 2 King size bed. The receptionist is very welcoming and polite. The hotel location is perfectly located in the center of town, opposite the hotel there is a local popular restaurant Old Town cafe. Along the street you can find several local restaurant. Suria Sabah the shopping center is just 5 minutes walk from... More

Admittedly, the room is big and clean but worn. No breakfast served at the hotel but Fook Yuen is just 50 steps from the entrance of the hotel. But I feel that the room rate is very high and not worth it.

The room was nice, spacious and comfortable and the staff were ok. But... we thought the walls were thin and we had noise from the next room. As it was pouring rain, we were also disappointed to find that the hotel does not have a restaurant or room service.

There was nothing extremely amazing about the hotel but the stay was decent overall. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is reasonably sized. The wifi worked without complains. The hotel interiors, staff everything checks out well. The Location is obviously the biggest plus. It is right at the center and you can pretty much walk around with... More

First impression of this hotel is that it was a lovely mid century clean property. Check in was a little slow but no worries about that. The room was very large with a King bed and modern furnishings but a little worn. The bathroom was also large and well appointed and had a really nice rain shower.... just like I... More

Positives: This hotel is in a good central location, within easy walking distance of shops etc. We stayed in a room with our children which had two large queen beds and an en suite shower room. The room was clean and spacious and the shower was also excellent. Our luggage was looked after securely for a week when we went... More

This hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to the waterfront, shopping, restaurants, etc. Staff is very friendly. Wi-fi was excellent. Rooms were clean, spacious and modern. When we tried to extend our stay we couldn't because the hotel was all booked up. The only negative was that the hotel is a little pricey.
