The service in the hotel was good and the facilities of the hotel is fully equip. However, it is not convenient because it is quite far for walking distance from the city center but definitely will come back to stay this hotel next time again if self drive next time.

We had a nice stay, was clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Was traveling alone as a mum with a small baby. The staff were lovely - all women which made me feel very safe. The downside is it's quite far from town, on a very busy road, there are restaurants and shops next to it on a little strip... More

The owner and her staff are a friendly bunch. Never fail to greet with a smile and always so readily to assist. I love the room. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is very conveniently located. Just 15 mins away from the airport. I am definitely going back when I visit Sabah again.

We visited last September to attend an expo and were pleasantly surprised and grateful for the extra mile the staff and especially the owners went to ensure our group were taken cared of. Excellent location , clean and safe- kudos to the owners for the warm hospitality.

Zara Boutique Hotel (ZBH) offers real value for money for families, visitors and well as businessmen. This is a hotel I strongly recommend to all my friends who wants to travel on a budget and save money for sightseeing, sample native cuisine, or buy native handicraft or Sabah's famous seafood to bring home. What's unique about ZBH? It's fully run... More

We enjoyed our stay at Zara's Boutique Hotel so much that we went back twice within this year. The service was superb and the staff was very attentive to our needs. It was just a 10-minute drive from the airport so it was very convenient for us. Getting around wasn't any issue as we could easily get a taxi. The... More

Revisited this hotel for a night on 20 Dec. They upgraded my room (same rate as room booked) since room booked not ready. Breakfast was simple and good. Helpful and friendly staff. Walking distance to "Imbago" a new big shopping mall. Quite near the state mosque (one of the state's tourist attraction). Will surely come back to stay since room... More

So my other half and I stayed for for 3 nights in August 2014, we are on a tour of Malaysia and had checked out the reviews on here and as always took them with a pinch of salt being that everyone is different. First thing was lots of complaints of noise from road and airplanes, I would say no... More

First of all, I'm not a picky/troublesome traveler and mostly i can go very well. HOWEVER...the pictures on travel websites do NOT accurately show this horrible, run down, dangerously located property. First, the hotel stay beside a dustry and noisy highway. It's dangerous and not convenience. The carpet at the corridor and room are smelly and not welly maintain. When... More

Stay for two nights for business trip. Felt that for the price of one night at more than RM150 per night, I should get better deal but not really. The room look a worn out, almost felt like a budget hotel room. The breakfast comprised of fried rice, fried noodle, sausage, bread with margarine/butter, jam, and coffee & tea. Was... More
