When i entered (after arriving) the room, a girl complaint about a rash on her legs which was itching. That made me start investigate my own bed. I found a bed bug. I confronted the lady. The only response i got was "did you go to the jungle" and "i will check later". I was just five minutes in the... More

Well everything about the hostel is great except for the fact that I got bed bugs, I think in room 99. So, yeah, that ruined it for me. Otherwise, I would have given this hostel an awesome review. The rooms are nice, they come with lockers. There isn't much space for hanging out other than in the kitchen, which is... More

Small and cozy hostel thats clean and comfortable. It has great wifi, security and is well located. A ten minute walk from the markets, fifteen from the harbour to go island hopping (recommended!) and a big supermarket within 5 min. walk. Nice, helpful staff who speak English well. We loved Sensi.

Stayed in room 99 one night in the beginning of April. Everything looked nice and clean from the beginning but when I just was about to go to sleep, I saw a bed bug crawling on my pillow. Went down to the reception and they said they were sorry and I got a new bed mattress and pillow but did... More

Stayed there for 2 days last February, first impression was the place was clean and quite cozy. Room, common area, toilet was in good condition. Staff was very helpful on our queries especially when we had to do the arrangements for our Mt. Kinabalu climb, they're also trustworthy as we left some valuables to them since we won't be needing... Nice place to stay. Stayed in a single room enough for four pax for RM120 a night. Close to cafe and eating place. If you like indian food, located just next door and a pharmacy just across the street.

We didn't stay as when we arrived with our booking.com booking ready we were told the place was overbooked and they didn't know about the booking done 2-3 days before. The lady at reception seemed clueless what to do and just kept saying there is no space. After getting the owner on the phone she apologised and we were offered... More

I stayed in Sensi hostel for a week in May with my mum and sister. Honestly, the best and most beautiful hostel i ever stayed. Very clean - thanks to few ladies working there, always keeping place clean and tidy. Never had any issues. Staff very helpful, nice and smiling. I think the owner should really take care of them... Fantastic stay at Sensi - we walked in off the street and were lucky to find they had one room free. Room was spacious with a bunk bed and a double bed. Sheets and towels spotless and fresh. Shared bathroom facilities very clean and good hot shower! Kitchen area very nice with free tea/coffee. Compared to another hostel in kk... More
