Checking in proved to be a bit of a hassle, we had to wait until 3pm for our rooms to be ready (despite being told earlier that it'll be ready by 2pm) The rooms themselves were good. They were facing the Suria Sabah mall and the sea and it wasn't too small. The WiFi is on the slow side. Even... More

Stayed for 4 days to attend a cousin-in-law's wedding. Good location having two malls located right acoss and at the back of the hotel. Breakfast is average, same everyday, the coffee shop has a great view of the sea. Walking distance to the Jesselton Point. My son likes the Nagasaki Japanese restaurant located within walking distance of the hotel.

After staying at Hotel63, I was truly disappointed by this hotel. (I reserved this hotel as hotel63 was fully booked) This rate of this hotel was similar compared to hotel63 (like less USD 2/ night for a double room). However, The facilities and the room were obviously older than those in Hotel63. The washroom and the main area of the... More

I usually travel with family. each time we are in Kota Kinabalu we'll definitely choose this hotel. its location is just walking distance to main shopping malls, the Jesselton Point and restaurants. in addition, the hotel is very near to the sea that we can enjoy beautiful sea view from our room. Room rates are reasonable, clean rooms, staffs are... More

All of the front office staff including bellboys were very friendly. It's a pity that I don't remember their names, but yes all of them were kind and helpful. Bathroom was clean and was equipped with minimal but essential amenities such as body lotion, shampoo, shower gel, soap, towels. Shower, basin, and toilet drained well, but couldn't help water leaking... More

Stayed 2 nights in early March 2015. On the negatives, hotel really shows its age, with very basic amenities, old rooms that have not been refurbished in a very long while (stained carpet, damaged wallpaper, basic bathroom...), a noisy 3/F room given the traffic around the hotel and very old windows, and a packed breakfast area when the outdoor section... stayed at this hotel while visiting Kota Kinabalu during Chinese New Year. Facilities are rather barebones, but are at least clean as can be when compared to some other locations I have stayed before. Didn't try out breakfast as there were many other eateries nearby that served much better food than any hotel could served. Location-wise, the hotel is situated... More

The hotel is pretty old and run down from the outside but the rooms were okay. The main draw would be it's central location being in the heart of kk and near to several malls. The breakfast was decent too. Overall quite an average experience.
