Picturesque scene and breathtaking sunrise is the reason I love this place. Heaven for cat lovers but beware of your food, they are good in sneaking your munch if googly eyes failed. It's my second visit here and will definitely come back again.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the JResidence villa. The villa was beautiful, very clean and very well maintained. We liked that the villa (and we could see that the other rooms were, too) were cleaned thoroughly before and after our stay. The kitchen utensils - I love how squeaky clean they are. Looking modern and... More

Our third time at the J Residence and the location is still superb, of course . . . the views are wonderful and that's about it. The staff are courteous - full stop. Nothing to criticise about them. One of their many, many cats got stuck in a tree - I climbed the thing, perched precariously over a ledge to... More

Wow tranquil place with stunning views, a must is getting up for sunrise and if your lucky with the cloud cover will be simply stunning. Rooms clean and large, there are 10 rooms some with better views than others all with outside space or veranda. Best room to book is 5b and if not avail book 5a. We were lucky... More

This little place has a great spot for morning vistas if it's not misty. It does need a little tlc though. It does suffer a little bit of humidity as you are so high up in the forest the room felt a bit damp. The walk to the little shop and restaurant is on a busy main road so be... More

The hotel's location is great. Just about opposite the entrance of Kinabalu National Park. I am not comfortable about the very steep road into the resort. They have hot showers according to them but the shower is absolutely freezing. Have the instant heaters in the cold mountain climate is just about silly. These heaters are not able to heat the... We stayed in this hotel for only one night. The hotel is surrounded by nature and it is very soothing yet cozy. Access to the hotel is very steep, please make sure your car's brake are function. The room is quite interesting because they not using a regular door, they using a sliding door maybe to help us enjoy the... More

We took a corner unit with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. Our room terrace was great for hanging out during the day as it had the view of the mountains. Woke up to a beautiful misty morning. Bathroom looked a little tired so perhaps the management could look into making it look nice again. There was a vcd... More

My gf and I are climbing Mount Kinabalu and had stayed for 2 nights over here, 1 night before the climb and 1 night after we came down from the mountain. This is a nice quiet place within walking distance (300 metres ++) to the entrance of Kinabalu Park. If you are going there to attempt the climb, this can... More

We booked 2 nights, ended up staying only one. This is a very good location if you want to go hike in Mt. Kinabalu, as we did for a day, but besided there is nothing to do there .... You can indeed eat something right across the entrence of the park, but besides this, it is dead ... that's also... More
