My room was very clean. The A/C worked very well. The hotel shuttle staff were kindly waiting for me with a sign at the airport (although my flight was delayed by nearly an hour), and the following day they shuttled me back to the airport at the random time I selected (no set specific times - they were very flexible);... We stayed here on our way to Sandakan. We arrived late into KK and had a flight out the next day. The hotel is fine for this kind of stay. It is close to the airport, therefore not close to the center of town, and it is functional. There is nothing much nearby so I wouldn't recommend it for a... More

I spent one night at this hotel ahead of an early morning flight. It was clean and quiet but very small. TV was great, shower was hot. Wifi was very weak and didn't reach my room. Received a wake-up call then was driven to the airport in a minivan before dawn for free. There are several small hotels and guesthouses... More

We stayed 6 nights at the Crown Borneo Hotel. It is very close to KKIA Terminal 2. The hotel has an awesome transfer system. You can get transfer to anywhere in the city, and the prices are the same or even lower than by taxi. Rooms are clean and they have a free wifi. We also enjoyed the complimentary menu... More

A nice small hotel with clean, although small, rooms. The only medium level service was WiFi, which seemed to operate with fluctuating cycle. Location close to one of the KK airport runways made me thinking about the noise, but I was able to sleep without any disturbances. Room quality was of the very good standard if you don't count floor... More

We stayed two nights, separated by a night, at the Hotel. It is pretty much as advertised, tidy, clean, compact rooms (seems the norm in KK in this price range) and very close to the airport, with the bonus of free airport transfers, free wifi. I've bumped my review up to top marks due to the brilliant team that work... More

If you need a place to sleep at night, for your flight next morning, look no further. We stayed for one night at Crown Borneo, it was convenience and hassle free. Our flight suppose to reach Kota Kinabalu at 8pm, however, due to flight delay casued by bad weather, it was delayed till 8.45pm. We were so worried that no... More

The price is quite cheap but the facilities really terrible. There was no mirror in the room but only bathroom.I hate the hotel. Then breakfast was not buffet and not nice.If I not mistaken it was new zealand style breakfast.Other than that, the bathroom locker also have problem. The matress was really hard and uncomfortable to sleep. The room was really small. Then the Tv also... Pre trip e mail contact was friendly and efficient. Excellent value (one night was the equivalent of about $57 NZD) We checked in late, about 9pm and were out again by 6am the next day so only ever saw it in the dark! While certainly nothing fancy it was very clean and tidy with honest friendly service. Extremely close to... More

This hotel was fine for our overnight transit and cheap. Free transfers and location make it perfect plus a nice walk to the beach is possible for dinner if you feel inclined! The bathroom is strange as they are glass boxes but free wifi and friendly service makes up for it!
