The hotel is a walking distance to a Sunday morning market called Gaya Street market. Its good to stay here if you are from out of town and you have Gaya Street market as one of your agenda. (By the way, please also look for a restaurant that sells banana fritters at the end of Gaya Street). We took a... More

We stayed at Eden54 for 3 nights after asking around in other hotels in the city. This is by far the best, particularly for its price. It was 139 ringgit for a smaller double with window or a bigger double without a window. Everything looked new, clean, modern and makes you feel comfortable. In the lobby is a fridge if... More

We stayed at threedifferent hotels in Kota Kinabalu and the Hotel Eden 54 was definitely the best. It was the most expensive but the extra money spent was more than made up in value. The hotel appears to be rather new. Our air conditioned room was very clean and quiet. The hotel is in the city center and is a... More

It's confounding to me that this is the 2nd highest ranked hotel in Kota Kinabalu. But perhaps it says a lot about KK that this is considered one of the best hotels. Given the raving reviews on here I was honestly expecting to be blown away, but this is a hotel that is akin to a good budget hotel. Not... More

Reasonable price at convenient location. Walking distance to many nice restaurants/cafes and shopping mall. The Lady Boss is very friendly and helpful, they help to call taxi for us as well. Room is small but sufficient for 2 person and clean. Strongly recommended for budget travellers.

Although not the cheapest place in KK, this place was perfectly fine for a few days. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It has a great location within walking distance to anything you could need. Only thing wrong with it is the same things that are wrong with all Malaysian accommodation so once you are used to them it's... More

This small hotel was absolutely perfect for our 2nights in KK. It is extremely well located, right near the Jesselton Jetty, banks, grocery stores etc. The hotel staff were excellent and helped out, even recommending activities, organizing rides for us etc. The room and hotel in general was very clean and well equipped. I would highly recommend this little gem... More

Arrived at KK at late evening and took airport shuttle bus to main town, walked about 10-15 mins to reach hotel which is quite easy to locate. Room is small but rather adequate for a 2 star hotel. Staff was friendly, room was tidied everyday with new towels except the bedsheets weren't change during our 4 nights' stay. Missed out... More

Booked one night here and extended by another while we took in the KK sights, and planned onward travel. Very helpful front desk. Recommended highly for mid-end accommodation. Nice quiet large lounge/easting area and small kitchen with basic utensils plus tea/coffee.
