during the night, i couldn't sleep at all because of noisy and smoking other side rooms. there are no windows and a ventilating opening so that i feel i can't breathe. i booked three days but next morning i just moved another hotel. i don't wanna go kota kinabalu anymore due to this hotel.

Hotel is very comfortable, clean and cheap. Has ample parking space and not too far from the downtown, only five minutes was able to arrived at Jalan Gaya which is very famous in Kota Kinabalu. Servicing of cleaning of the rooms was also very good.

Stayed here only one night. My last night before i was due to fly home. The hotel was pretty empty and i got a "promotion price". Room i had was windowless and fairly small, but it had ok air-con, a (tiny) television and a very good shower. The walls were very thin and i had a couple of partyboys staying... More

The hotel is generally nice and in a good location. The rooms are en suite with air con and tv. We had a few good nights here and were happy to keep returning. When the hotel is busy, it can become noisy. The walls are thin so you here everything. Shame as because of this I can't really recommend whole... More

on our trip through asia for 2 months stayed at the hotel garden twice. we did choose the budget option, which meant we did not have a window, however clean linen, clean room, aircon, tv, mineral water, and the best ensuite shower in asia!! staff very accommodating and friendly/helpful, wifi access, generally would definately recommend.

There are so many hotels of all types and categories in Kota Kinabalu. Competition is high but even with that many places, hotels here often display a "full" sign on their doors. Still it is no excuse to have dirty rooms and this hotel is guilty of that! Yes it is a budget hotel but there are many other budget... More

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at for one night (supposed to be a second but I changed my plans!) Dirty, bugs, noisy and broken appliances (free internet in lobby, if you could get the machine to turn on).
