Decent hotel that you can get for the amount of money you pay. Bed with bed bug, bed bug, bed bug, can't even sleep at night because of it and the pillow is awful dirty. poor sound proof between room, you can even here people talking on the street. If you looking for a budget hotel , look somewhere. For... More

I stayed here in summer 2012 and I should have written my review sooner. I slept in a bunk dorm room. This was the first place of my trip and I hadn't had any bed bug problems. After 1 night woke up covered in bites, also found a live one crawling on my bag. Told reception and gave them the... More

I was recommended this by a local friend. But it's really not what they advertise. Staff were pleasant, always there, and its a friendly place. But in our private room there was no natural light, the bunks were squeaky. Sheets were polyester, and the Wi Fi not available in rooms.breakfast consisted of white bread n jam or noodles....mm mm, not... More

Checked in last night and was told by travellers in the dorm there was a bed bug problem, particularly with the bed I'd been allocated (106E) - apparently two separate occupants from the past two nights had been bitten. I told reception I'd like to change beds and was told by staff they had since treated the mattress so it... More

It is basic, but clean. You get what you paid for, but you don't pay a lot :) The common area is nice and it is near restaurants and the jetty. The staff is friendly and helpful. So it is a good place if you're on a tight budget.

We stayed here for a few nights whilst doing our PADI course. It's a 15 minute walk from Jessleton Pier, 5 minutes from the waterfront and surrounded by good restaurants. We had a double room with fan. The room was basic but clean. The common area was large with computers and a TV. The breakfast was toast. Our major issue... More

The hostel has a great common area- with a kitchen, living room with TV, smoking area, computer area. The rooms themselves are pretty basic but clean. Get a room with a window if you can, otherwise the windows outlook the hallway.

we had some great experience staying here. is right in the middle of the street market. but not noisy at all. sleep very well. and also had met some nice friendly people from KL who came for holiday too and stay here. and also ate around town easy and no transport needed for this area. had day trip book with... Went there for 2 nights stays right after Mount Kinabalu hike. Honestly, climbing the staircases were a torture after the hike but that's the only complaint I had. We were a group of six, and had one of the dorms for ourselves. The beds are acceptable, given the price. The room had no locker nor window but with air-conditioner. What... More

The common room was nice. They have wifi and computers. The room was basic: shared bathroom, no outside-facing windows, and nonetheless very noisy. Good location when travelling through (the airport bus transport is a 2 minute walk away). Some reataurants close by. The harbour (nice to eat there!) is a 10 minute walk away.
