This hotel is out of town a fair bit which is a bonus as KK can be too busy./noisy/smelly. There is a free shuttle from the adjacent shopping mall. Make sure you book in with the concierge on the ground floor just inside the hypermall enterance first as the bus fills early. Don't forget to book your return bus time... more

This hotel is very chic.It reminds me of the small hotels in NYC- very trendy. It's located literally attached to 1Borneo the largest mall on the island of Borneo. Nothing's very far in Borneo, so while this is a bit "on the other side of town" it's perfect if you're there for shopping and nightlife. more

My BF and stayed at the Novotel in KK for 3 days in August 09. It was a nice hotel. The rooms were new and modern. Very disappointing experience. Rooms very small and the bathrooms poorly designed and dangerous. Walls and floors all wonky! Swimming pool closed with no warning. Breakfast bad quality food and inconsistent. Not usual Novotel standard at all more
