Distance: North of Kota Kinabalu. KKIA is south of KK. RM50 cab ride from KKIA. The KK city trip from KKIA costs RM30.00. Costs RM30.00 for a cab ride to Jesselton Point Jetty. At first, it appeared to be a bad choice. Rent a cheap Saga and the problem sorts itself. Which brings about another problem Parking: is confusing as... More

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed. The shower water pressure is very, very low and without a door, thus wetting the whole bathroom. The air conditioning is like using a ceiling fan. Wardrobe is without a door for whatever reason I don't know. There's no disposable slippers, face towels and hangers for bath towels. The breakfast is the... More

I was here for a 2 day conference. Stayed 2 nights at this hotel which had changed name again... to The Klagan Regency Hotel. I was a bit skeptical at first after reading so many reviews. My room was at higher floors. So air-conditioning was OK, bed was superb. and toilet was clean. My problem was with the TV. The... More

This place was disgusting. I've stayed at 2* places better than this. No wonder Novotel disowned it! There was swarms of ants everywhere, which crawled all over the bed. Mould. Worn down fixtures. Stains. Hairs everywhere. It was in the middle of nowhere and cost a bomb to get to the city or jetty. The only plus side was that... More

First of all, the location of the location of the hotel is further away from town. Airport taxi will charge RM50 to get you from Airport to Hotel. Although the Hotel is adjacent to 1Borneo shopping mall, unfortunately there is nothing much to shop about. Looking out for a good meal in the mall is tough. Travelling out of the... More

I have stayed here before and have written a raving article review then. This time about it has turned out to be an horror story. May be it is my mistake that I was I was expecting the same kind of hospitality. I guess this is what happens when the owners tries to operate their own property and stinge on... More

This hotel is no longer under Novotel management. I booked the hotel before I know it was being changed to a new name and new management. I booked it under points redemption for Novotel KK. Upon arrival, they do not honour the reservation that I have made and insist me to pay the full amount of my stay. I was... More

This hotel is no longer under the Novotel management. Its horribly maintained (the air cond doesnt work, card reader has problem, wall plugs are all loose, many lights burned and not replaced, and more !). I visit here every 2-3 months for work and I can honestly tell you, gone are the days of a 4 star hotel when it... More

This hotel is in an isolated position - not near anything except the soulless shopping mall below. Our room was sort of okay - looked like half the room had been renovated, but not the other. The bathroom was good but the sleeping area was basic and there was a very strange arrangement with the desk that swung outwards. Most... More
