I stayed overnight here on a quick stop over in kota kinabalu. Being 10 minutes walk from the airport used by air asia, it was perfect for my early artivals and departures. Taxis are expensive when travelling solo and cost double the fee to stay in this place. 10 minutes walk to the beach and main eateries, or 10 minutes... More

If you are on a budget trip and expect nothing luxury, just want a simple stay, this is already perfect! It was my first time traveling solo and it's for a month. Chosen Sabah as my destination and I did not do any bookings. Once alighted from the airport, I pick up a brochure with map, google for nearby dorms... More

I stay for one night just before meeting my team for KK mount climbing next day. In order to save money, i choose a dorm. When i arrive the hostel, no people in front of counter. I wait there 15mins and finally use my mobile phone to give a ring to the hostel. As i call up, the phone rang... More

At first I was in the female dorm where the whole house only have 5 people staying in. Well the price is very attractive so I book it straight away. Location is pretty good, walking distance to the beach and also further up is the Sunset Bar in Shangri-la, the sunset view there is awesome!! I checked in around 4pm,... More

My flight departs in the morning 6:10 AM by AirAsia. I wish to stay longer in KK and catch flight easily. So I book here. For a hostel, here is clean and the staff is nice. Smile and greet to you. Discuss your journey, give you advise and make your trip completely. There are a lot of mosquitoes around when... More

We booked one night here as we were flying back into KK and then out again the next day. Although the beach isn't amazing it is very close and the local food on the beach is cheap and tasty. It is only Rm 1 on the bus into KK city and having stayed in the city I would definitely recommend... More

A convenient hostel for the nearby beach and airport, run by friendly staff. The rooms are adequate but cleanliness of the communal areas left a bit to be desired...a line of ants in the bathroom and the kitchen wasn't so inviting! Beds and rooms are basic but comfortable, the building is set back from the road so not noisy, and... More

The only reason I chose this hotel is we didn't want to sleep in KK airport when we arrived midnight. It's only a 10 minute's easy walk from Terminal 2. Maybe the other reason choosing it is an early departure, because we saw a couple of Taiwanese were leaving when we arrive at 4 AM. It looks like a local... More
