We stayed here for two nights and I really felt sorry that I had to leave to our next destination. The cintra heritage house is a charming bed and breakfast in a more quiet side street of Chulia street (a very busy street in the center of Georgetown). The rooms are beautifully furnished and painted and have cute wooden window... More

The photos here really don;t do this place justice. it is a beautifully restored and converted old wooden house with inner courtyard. Rooms are a great size and with lovely old furniture. Staff are really friendly and helpful and breakfast was good (essentially toast, eggs and fruit though as is so many cheap tasty options all over Georgetown, you probably... More

Small, intimate hotel run by very friendly staff. The room are simple and clean. Its an older building with a lot of character. I find the hotel really nice and relaxing. No television, but each room has its own air conditioner which is nice. I stayed on the 2nd floor overlooking the courtyard. It was wonderful to just open the... More

I went to Penang to see my dentist again 2 days ago and came to this little gem next to Chulia Street in Penang. Is just a little walk upward and you will find a little turning to Lebuh Cintra and this B&B is just next to it. Is a well restored guesthouse and the room is very nice and... More

It is a conversion from a house. The building design is really interesting. The room was comfortable but pretty basic, e.g. wet bathroom (no separate shower). My room was very quiet except during the call to prayer from a nearby mosque. Room air conditioning worked well but the building design with an open courtyard meant the public areas obviously were... ... unfortunately we took the double deluxe room with view on the street, so the first night we weren't able to sleep because of all the noise (cars, motorcycles, people talking, at all hours of the night). After checking other reviews on trip advisor we asked to be relocated to another room that gave onto the inner courtyard, but unfortunately... More

Two of us (in separate rooms) stayed here on business for over two weeks. The staff were fantastic - really nice people as well as helpful and interesting; they made our stay! First, let's be clear - this is not a modern hotel. This is a restored old family home/shop (hence 'heritage'). If you are looking for all mod cons... More

This beautiful little Guesthouse is located right in the heart of Georgetown. The staff was very friendly, everything was within walking distance. The best bed I have had so far in Southeast Asia. A true Gem.

The building was a very lovely restored shop house with a lot of character. It's also in a convenient location for walking around Georgetown. Clean and staff were friendly and helped us with planning things to do. Unfortunately, the first two nights, we were put in a room at the front above the street, which was very loud and made... More

Superb period building, very nicely decorated, room was clean with nice touches (coffee, tea, water, slippers, toothbrush & paste). Outstanding staff who always ask how your stay is going and if you need anything else. Great filling breakfast. I didn't have any other meals at the restaurant, but did have a nice glass of wine! And when I asked for... More
