Love Lane Inn was recommended to me by several other travellers so I thought I'd give it a try. The rooms are basic and seem to vary in temperature and noise levels - check a few out before you pay. The Love Lane Inn was recommded to us by two backpackers we met in the Cameron Highlands, Malaysia. They weren't wrong. We turned up late in Georgtown and wondered in to the Love Lane Inn, because friends of ours had recommended it. We met Aimee who was on the front desk. She is hilarious and basically mental! I stayed at the Love Lane Inn during August, 2005. I had lengthly chats with Jimmy, whom was a very nice guy. Amy was also great to talk with, both had many stories to talk about. Love Lane Inn is in a great Location in Georgetown where you are near both Chinatown and Little India. Trips to Penang Hill and places such as the snake farm are easy and enjoyable.
