Very convenient for town centre and heritage sites. Rooms on the small side but very clean and comfortable more than adequate for a budget hotel. Staff very helpful in providing local detail/information.

I have booked two rooms from Yes Hotel (Penang) for 3days from 15 to 17 Dec, but when we reached the hotel, we were told that the rooms that we booked were not available and has given us another room. We have tolerated with the situation and decided to follow the management's arrangement. However, we found that the room was... More

been staying here for quiet number of times, due to price reasonable. room is fit for small family . clean, and new, but sometimes, noise can be heard from next room. wall is thin layer. Try ask for room away from lift as is a little noisy when lift is in use. overall, is pretty much ok.

Stayed here for a night. Hotel layout is bad, narrow corridor with maze-like design. Also has very bad emergency layout if something happen. Rooms are not well-kept. Very few room amenities (e.g. no drinking water, no satelite channels). Looks good on the outer side, totally not value for money even for a night.

So the price wasn't ideal but the room itself was perfect, though the walls are paper thin. My friend and i weren't feeling 100% so settled with this place. Breakfast wasn't included but there is a little cafe across the road that sells food, coffee and tea. Staff were friendly and obliging and helped with directions etc, though English wasn't... More

As to be expected the hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Rooms were fairly small though and many have no window. Lacking some facilities such as a Mini Bar and Room Safe. Can be a bit noisy as on a busy corner. Very close to the Heritage Area of Georgetown and a short taxi ride from Shopping Malls. Room Rates... More

On Jalan Transit, you're out of the claustrophobic insanity of Lorong Cinta and the surrounding streets, but you're only really a short walk from it all. This is a better-than-expected mid-range hotel. Better than average rooms with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Stayed here nov2012&nov2013.it's a budget hotel that offers reasonable stay.rooms are not massive we booked a twin room, beds were clean and fresh towels provided. It provided a good sleep, and it wasn't noisy. The lift only goes to the second floor but that's not a problem when you only have a back pack.conveniently situated with plenty of food nearby at... I booked a family room (the largest one they have) for two nights and it was terrible! They don't have an elevator to 3rd floor! We have to use the elevator to 2nd floor and then use the stairs to the 3rd floor and it was like a maze! Very inconvenient! The room has a window but you cannot see... More
