Feel safe and clean with the hotel room, the hotel is very near to town and the hawker stalls ( few steps walk) and the shopping area - Komtar, Avenue , Prangin Mall (5minits walking listen). Traveller also can take pulic transport at komtar area.

I don't understand why many people think that this hotel is in a good location but the fact is that this hotel is about 20mins walking to the old Georgetown and it's tourist attractions I had to rent a car to explore the island as it's too hot during the day and don't want to spend my time staying at... Rooms are modern, reliable a/c and hot water and comfortable bed. Has everything i need for good nights rest. Location is good, about 5 mins walk to komtar area for shopping, and 10mins to heritage area. Building is prominent and easy to spot (good for those who prefer to go on foot/bus instead of taxis). Just hop on a bus... More

I stayed in this hotel last year during my trip to Malaysia. The hotel building looks bland from outside, but inside it is good. The check-in process was fast , as was the check-out. Coming to the room - it was small, but amenities like mini-bar, kettle were provided. There were 2 Queen size beds, which are good enough for... More

Hotel location is great, about 5 - 10 minutes walk to tourist attractions. Hawker center about 2 minutes walk from the hotel, shopping malls about 5 minutes walk. Service was below average, very slow staff and doesn't seem to be interested in their job. Concierge was busy talking away with her friends, stood for about 5 minutes while getting ignored... More

Booked 4 rooms and have indicated non-smoking rooms for all. But was allocated to a smoking floor (Level 2). When we questioned the hotel reception, he have the cheek to say that we only indicated "non-smoking ROOMS" and not "non-smoking FLOOR"!?!? He said that all rooms are non-smoking. SO DOES IT MEAN THAT TENANTS CAN ONLY SMOKE IN THE CORRIDORS... More

Central location, walking distance to nearby eating places (eg Lebuh Kimberley, Lebuh Chulia, Macalister, etc) and Camera Museum. Clean, basic and value for money. Free parking though spots are limited - may need park by the side of the road (not sure whether all the spots are legal) Check in was quite slow and the lobby was quite crowded (being... More

Despite being sick when I arrived had a great stay here. The staff on reception were always friendly especially one of the girls, cant remember her name. Room was good a little small but ok. Only thing strange was that bathroom thought it could have been better planned. A huge shower, but toilet behind door made it difficult to get... More

This is a budget hotel where you can stay a night if you are - like me - traveling from Langkawi to Ipoh, specially for bus travelers because the station is close to the hotel, the other advantage is that it's about 10 min walking from the best restaurant in Penang which is Line clear serves the best Nasi kandar

We stayed for three nights. Staff was friendly, rooms was comfortable with good housekeeping and the hotel is a 5 min walk to komtar (Main bus interchange). The only problem is our room window faces another rooms' window so we do not have a view and have to keep the curtains shut most of the time. We did not take... More
