The taxi drivers in Penang have set rates and do not use the meter just to advise in advance. This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed. Parking was smelly and dirty. 3 lifts to accommodate 20 over floors is ridiculous, to make it worse, one of them was under repair during our stay. The toilet seat was cover with non-washable stain and really disgusting, can't they just replace it as it does not cost that much?... more

Lousy hotel located in the same building with a shopping complex. The car park craps, little space between cars and if you are driving a big car, it is impossible for you to park into a car park space if both sides already occupied by other cars. I had fun at Berjaya Tioman but that hideous Berjaya Georgetown was pale in comparison. The only great thing was the convenient location that enabled us to get away from it all. I booked this hotel through a travel agent with a discounted price. I only pay 40% of published rate for a superior double room.
