There are two main reason why I give a super bad rating for this hotel. Me and my girl friend stayed in during christmas eve and christmas day. We totally don't get enough sleep! 1. The air condition sucks to the max. Why? => Heat air only, Receptionist refused to check or switch room for us. It's like a volcano... More

The location of the hotel is in the middle of the Little India (food!) and very close to the bus terminal (about 5-10 minutes walk) so those were the reason we booked the hotel. plus because it was the Penang Bridge International Marathon season so most of the good budget hotels in Penang were fully booked. We booked a room... More

The location is great!!!!!!! Right next to little India n close to the ferry terminal to Langkawi. But staff are rude, staring at you all the time like you would steal / crash the place. Rooms are very tiny and have a bad smell ....................

We checked in to find no curtains (website sited blackout blinds), the toilet seat was broken on the floor, the soap had been used, no towels, beds were dirty and contained black hairs. Reception sent the 'manager / owner' up to the room who said that this was all there was and would not move us or fix the problems.... More

The search for the best of the least dodgy cheap hotels in Georgetown ultimately came down to the fact that this hotel was recently refurbished & by default, clean. Our Standard room on the first floor was small & had a double bed, without any windows or natural light. Mattress was solid with springs, pillows were small & medium-hard but... More

We made the mistake of showing up in Georgetown between Christmas and New Years without a reservation, so we didn't have many options. We had the second room on the first floor. It smelled like mothballs (which is what many businesses in the region use for urinal mints). We had to take the two "mints" out of the bathroom and... More

The online photos are a real credit to the photographer! The rooms were small, but en suite, the A/C was very good too. The wifi didn't work upstairs but was pretty good down in the lobby. Only a short walk into little India, the hotel is a fairly good place to base yourself. Only a 15-20 minute walk to the... More

My wife and I stayed here on a trip to Georgetown a few months ago. At the time they had just opened and we were some of the first people that stayed here. It was very clean (as I said it was brand new at the time) and the owners were very friendly. The price was about the same as... More
