Two words, strategic location! Surrounded by good food, just walk down the stairs and you will be overwhelmed by the variety of street foods offered for supper! Walk few minutes away and you will reach few shopping malls and the main bus station (Komtar). The rooms provided are spacious, clean and well equipped. A good choice for those traveling in... More

Really enjoyed our stay here. Benny and all the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was big and spacious and was very well equipped with a comfy bed, aircon, free wifi, 2 bedside tables, a large writing desk by the window, wardrobe with full length mirror, fridge, tv (bad signal), dvd player (cheap dvds sold nearby), had... I am a Singaporean citizen now resident in Hong Kong. Early last year my wife and I visited Penang and stayed here. We enjoyed Penang very much, and the hotel, though basic, was very well located in the middle of a lively neighbourhood. We enjoyed the night market and the food stalls. We decided to return for another visit to... More

Wife of the guest started to get irritated and demand us to do something so they can have the... More

The official address of the hotel is 71 Kimberly Street. So not sure it is the same hotel we stayed in, can't tell from the photo at the top. Anyway, we are very happy with the location and service. We requested for an iron and ironing board and we were provided with them. They even loaned us a weighing scale... More

Great location, it is easy access to food stalls where Kimberly Street got lotsa nice food there. There is common area like pantry where I take away the food and have it there.10 min walk to Komtar and Armenian Street. Room with balcony. I can sitting out there to have night view.

Was a bit shocked when we first arrived at this place honestly but once you got in, it wasn't that bad after all. I've separated the points as per below: Advantages: big room, lots of water dispenser, canned drinks machines, nice staffs, near Komtar where you may easily take a bus to places, affordable price, lots of plug to charge... Spent three nights here and we could happily have spent another week. We stayed in room 208 and it was the largest room we have ever had in Malaysia for this kind of budget level. Comfortable bed and excellent air-con and best of all it was quiet and peaceful. All the main attractions of Georgetown are within twenty minutes walk,... More
