Colourful, friendly, quiet and spotless. Perfect location to explore Georgetown. Lots of room and quality comforts and a lovely breakfast. The staff were a delight...we will be back of another weekend soon.

Really lovely set of apartments and rooms. Not too much fuss, very simple style and barely touched from its imperial days. Made to feel very welcome and looked after constantly. In a nice quiet corner of Georgetown without being too far away from the hustle if required. Lots of space meant it was very good value for money and cheap... More

We stayed this place for three nights and I have to say, this place worth every penny. Staffs were very friendly, foods were amazing and the best of all, the place by itself. This place was basically the home away from the home for me. I enjoyed their mini gardens, the interior and simply every part of the suite. If... More

Stayed here with our 5 year old for 3 nights - first night in a ground floor suite then moved to the 2nd floor which has a bigger bed. Location was perfect, we walked to most attractions in Georgetown and only took taxi to go to Gurney Drive and Batu Ferringhi. Oh yes and we took the rickshaw once for... More

Our stay of four nights was everything we hoped it would be. The minimally restored shophouse was like stepping back in time. Tastefully furnished and with the comforts of Astro, DVD player, refrigerator. aircon and good shower, our ground floor suite still had plenty of the original left to charm us. We loved the private internal courtyard with potted plants,... More

Compared to the other boutique hotels converted from old shop houses, the touch is relatively light handed. The doors are refurbished original that retains their original texture etc but not stripped down, sand and re lacquered. This gives a very authentic feel. You sort will go uh oh when you see the doors to the bath and toilet. Is it... More

I don't usually write reviews, but was so impressed with this hotel that I felt I should. Coffee Atelier is located right in the heart of the Heritage district, within easy walking distance of Little India and countless bars / restaurants. The rooms are spacious, clean, quirky and done to a good standard. I particularly liked the bathroom / sitting... More

We stayed for 2 nights at suite 49 first floor. The suite was great, it was big, clean and antique. The location was great, in the middle of georgetown, walking distance to CAT bus stop (no 6 and 16) and many tourist attractions as well. The staffs were so helpful, they helped to arrange our taxi from and to airport.... More

If you are looking for unique heritage accommodation in Malaysia with all the comforts of a good modern hotel then I would strongly recommend. Its a great base to explore the city. I'd give them five stars for service, the hotel room interiors and value for money (breakfast is also included). Try the smoothies in their cafe, they are delicious!
