Stayed 2 nights at number 91. This place has character. The facade was typical Chinese shophouse but inside was a different world altogether. You had to climb a steep and narrow staircase to the 2 bedrooms upstairs. The bedrooms had timber floors and ceilings with comfortable beds. We stayed at 95 Armenian Street. It has 2 bedrooms upstairs, and 3 living spaces downstairs - a sitting room with the TV, a kitchen area with a picnic table, and a lovely courtyard at the back. We arrived in Penang two days early due to a protest in KL. We made our way to the Straits Collection office in the hopes our room would be available two days early.
