Everything like location, staff, room service and cleanliness, breakfast and sharing area like lobby, restaurant was good. Just a little bit WiFi was slow. General speaking this hotel is really recommended.

We've stayed at Banana around 6 times and absolutely love it. Like many reviewers on here have pointed out, the hotel helps with visa processing for travelers coming from Thailand. But this is one of the things we loved about it, they have helped us on multiple occasions get our visas processed quickly. The hotel is gorgeous inside and out,... More

This hotel caters mostly visa runners. They dont care about their guests. They prioritizes only Russian and European. They always giving the worst rooms to Asians. Based on my experience, they gave me a room with no private bathroom, with a filthy smell and a bed mattress on the floor! This experience really ruined my day.

Not too impressed, agood location in the centre of georgetown and a nice old building. The rest leaves a lot to be desired its basically set up for visa runs where you are overcharged and herded like cattle the breakfast is poor as is the service. It is certainly not a 4 star hotel.

Starting with the positive, the hotel building is lovely with aspirations of being a traditional house that tours would visit. That is about the end of the positive On arrival you will be fortunate to find a member of staff except the poor barman sitting in his empty bar watching reruns of football matches on tv. Food, when it exists,... More

I am horrified at the lack of professionalism in this hotel. I arrived to be greeted by exceptionally rude receptionists who made me feel incompetent and as though I am not worthy of their time. I am shocked that you would treat a paying customer that way!! I then got up to my room which was covered in ants, with... More

I was deeply humiliated by the so-called manager behavior who worked morning shift on 23 February. The lady of probably a Chinese origin (not sure) who called herself a manager and refused to tell her name shouted and laughed in my face kept interrupting all the time and never let me finish my complaint. The complaint was-that instead of giving... More

We have done this trip twice now, and this hotel is such a convenient stop as part of the Banana/TVR visa run. They have shed light on visa mysteries for us and saved us some loot in doing so. Pretty cool.
