We survived one nightmare night here without much sleep as cochroaches were crawling in our room and all over our bed and pillows! In the first minutes we were in our room we came across two huge cockroaches. Even after spraying anti-coackroach stuff in the room that would make us almost faint, the insect happily wandered on the bed. That was it: we left the hotel to have a good night rest in the Anjungan... (and at first Havana Beach Resort refused to... More

We decided to go to Pulau Pangkor because the monsoon season had not yet finished it’s work on the east coast, so PulauTioman was still closed. I managed to book two rooms at the Havana Beach Resort which is in the Nipah Beach area. Arriving at a strange island can be a bit worrying, you have bags and stuff to... More

by mosquitoes, the bathrooms were dirty had to call the cleaner back twice. The rooms were not cleaned properly either, luckily the bed and bedding were very clean. It was off season, so the rooms should be even cleaner as it was not busy. Across the road from the beach, staff were ok. However we did get the chalet at a... More
