Trusting rating and comments from websites and fellow travelers, we simply booked a room. And opened up new and unforgettable experience with Pangkor Guesthouse! Greeted by a warm and friendly host. Helpful and able to recommend activities which suit your taste; let it be sea activities or some funs exploring the little island. The rooms are clean and tidy. With... More

A sleepy fisherman's village, clean, calm, beautiful and laid back place. So is the Guest house, very clean, calm, loving and no complications. No restaurant but enough and more local cuisines available all around. Small but comfortable rooms, value for money. Will recommend definitely.

Pangkor Island...many reviews have been written about this Island. My search for tranquil, laid-back village stay led me to Pangkor Guesthouse. Joyce, owner & her husband Boon have crafted a very unique place, by re-using the old timber pillars of a very old shophouse with lots of history....check out their website for this. It's interior and exterior are adorned with... More

I am glad to have you both here, and so much to share once open my mouth, until I have to remind myself to stop talking too much and take too much of your time to enjoy the surroundings. Keep contact and you are most welcome back for long stay, more activities coming up after the new guesthouse setting up. More

It is clean. You keep your foot wear outside before entering reception. It is minimal. No restaurant. You can pick a soft drink or biscuit from a shelf and note it down in the book. You won't miss breakfast here. You can get freshly baked bread from the cake shop next door and the lady in the restaurant in front... More

This group of guests have total five people. When they just arrived, they do not have time to let me introduced other information because they said they are too hungry, they want to get shower and food. I enjoyed Pangkor Guesthouse a lot because there was everything there I was looking for, eg not simply the beach but the daily life and activities of Pangkor inhabitants. The place is comfy and is located in the heart of Sungai Pinang Kechil, a lovely and lively malaysian chinese village where there was so much things going on around that... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the end of December. I wish we had stayed longer and would love to go back. The guesthouse is located a very short walk from SPK jetty. The guesthouse itself is basic but comfortable, clean and excellent value. There are two lovely communal areas to sit and read or watch local life go by.... More

The food stalls here are operated by local house-hold. Small family business and usually does not hired worker. Every food stall have different operating hours. There are stalls open from 6.30am, 1pm, 3pm, 4pm, 7.30pm according to their individual life-style. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all served by 20~30 different food stalls, traditional coffee shop, restaurant within 1~2 min walk from... More

We stayed for four nights at the guesthouse and had a very relaxing and pleasant stay. It's about a minute from the SPK jetty located in a small fishing village with lots of food stalls and shops around. We liked that nontouristy feeling very much, although there seems to be only one choice if you want to eat late in... More

Owners were very friendly and gave a lot of suggestions on where to explore. We stayed here here for 3 days in October and rented an auto motorbike to get around the island. It's a small island and very easy to navigate around (takes about 15-20minutes by motorbike to the town area). This is located very near the jetty with... More

It is located in the town. Not a problem to look for local food all day even for supper. If you opt for sea or beach this guesthouse is a little bit far from those places. The room is a little bit small but overall everything are fine. The owner is very kind and helpful.
