A gem of a place, owned by a really relaxed and lovely couple, with a very cute little daughter. Breakfast was a great, cook it yourself affair, with a selection of fruits, bread, a toaster, eggs and sausages, and they have Marmite. The pool was lovely and cold in the daytime, and warm at night - plus no problem night... More

Excellent service by young family owned establishment. Very helpful with their local insights. Anything we need was looked after. Breakfast was good as we made it ourselves but with all ingredients supplied by the guesthouse. Little pool was adequate for cooling off and lazing around. Facilities were clean but our wet bathroom had somewhat unpleasant odour. Their towels could use... More

We arrived during Ramadan, a big mistake as no food stalls and only 2 small mini-marts were open in Nipah. Thank goodness for Danny's Cafe, a delightful Indian restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff right on the beach and only 10 minutes walk from Nipah. We were a family of 5 and had booked a family room at Nipah... More

Dear Louise T, First and foremost, we are sorry to disappoint you because we are only a small, simple and family-run guesthouse (hence our name Nipah GUESTHOUSE). Even after we’ve e-mailed you the photo of the room interior (what you see is what you get) but you still proceed to book the room and then whine and complain on TripAdvisor... More

Had a great time here. The owners so helpful and friendly - seems there's nothing they won't do to help: they treat all their guests as their family. Of all the places we stayed in Britain, Europe and South-East Asia, I think this was my favourite. If you come here, you'll find the glowing reviews are true - as long... More

Great place to stay. The owners are lovely and friendly. The whole place is immaculate and clean. Unfortunately we only had time to stay one night but we hope we get chance to return one day. The rooms were comfortable and very clean and air conditioned. The Cabana and pool area are lovely for relaxing at. The cook your own... More

I stayed in this guest house in 2011 for a few night and I found it like my home, cozy, comfortable and the owner was very friendly. Yesterday night I slept in a nasty hotel in Canada and I remembered this guest house and told my self that I should write a review for him. Nice place. I will go... More

The owners of this guesthouse were friendly, attentive, and helpful. My partner had a health issue whilst we were there and they helped us with getting to the local doctors and kept checking to make sure he was ok in the days afterwards. The grounds are beautifully kept with a lovely dipping pool and cabanas. It was very clean with... More

Atmosphere in this place is great, calm and peaceful. Alicia and Anouar do everything to make you at home. I would recommend this place to my friends. Liked the " do your own cooking breakfast" with fruit, eggs, pancakes etc. Thank you both for our nice stay! Lidy and Jo

Clean, comfort, safe! We had a lovely stay! We enjoyed the cook-it-yourself breakfast especially the pancake :) The hosts En. Anuar and his wife Alicia are so friendly... We had nice chats, and very inspiring and motivated sharing from En. Anuar, We love the small pool in front of our A-Frame cottage. It is a shallow pool, but just nice... More
