Very nice place. Everything perfectly clean. Owners are very friendly and always ready to help. Alicia didn't spare any effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We indeed had a nice stay and we would love to go back. Highly recommended.

We stayed from 30-Nov until 4-Dec-2014 (5D4N) as our family getaway. This has been our 2nd time visited Pangkor since our childhood. When you reached for the Nipah Guesthouse, Alicia was welcoming us with greeting our name and gave us a short briefing on the facilities they provided. We stayed at Chalet 1 & 2 with interconnecting. This is a... More

In today's society, it is hard to find people who are truly passionate about what they do. Welcome to the Nipah Guesthouse, where the owner/operators live on site. The guest houses are very unique and were a great experience to stay in. Air conditioned thus cool when needed. The recently built pool is great to sit around or cool off... More

I stayed here for two nights last week. From the moment we showed up, we felt at home. Alicia met us at the gate (by name no less), and gave us a full walkthrough of the areas we needed to know about. The room was simple but clean and the entire property was kept spotless. The WIFI was down so... More

I stayed here for 3D2N in A cottage room. Not so impressive as I paid Rm180 per night(peak season). Pros is: you can experience a humble guesthouse run by family, quiete, clean, enjoy dipping pool if it's raining, helpfull owner, sharing fridge & unique accomodation. Cons is: quite far from beach, no toiletries(you can't buy at the counter cause you don't have... More

Dear dee_sh2112, Thank you for your review. We are constantly upgrading and adding more facilities to our property from time to time. We are glad to know that you enjoyed our dipping pool. Sorry, we are not psychic to read your mind that you needed extra toiletries. You should have approached us during your stay here if you needed extra... More

A really really awesome place, owned by a lovely, friendly local couple. You'll notice the distinctive 'A' huts on the other end of the establishment. Cleanliness is not an issue here, around the courtyard and in the room. Rooms are equipped with a flat L.E.D, air conditioned. No water heater mind you, but then again who needs a water heater... A gem of a place, owned by a really relaxed and lovely couple, with a very cute little daughter. Breakfast was a great, cook it yourself affair, with a selection of fruits, bread, a toaster, eggs and sausages, and they have Marmite. The pool was lovely and cold in the daytime, and warm at night - plus no problem night... More

Excellent service by young family owned establishment. Very helpful with their local insights. Anything we need was looked after. Breakfast was good as we made it ourselves but with all ingredients supplied by the guesthouse. Little pool was adequate for cooling off and lazing around. Facilities were clean but our wet bathroom had somewhat unpleasant odour. Their towels could use... More

We arrived during Ramadan, a big mistake as no food stalls and only 2 small mini-marts were open in Nipah. Thank goodness for Danny's Cafe, a delightful Indian restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff right on the beach and only 10 minutes walk from Nipah. We were a family of 5 and had booked a family room at Nipah... More

Dear Louise T, First and foremost, we are sorry to disappoint you because we are only a small, simple and family-run guesthouse (hence our name Nipah GUESTHOUSE). Even after we’ve e-mailed you the photo of the room interior (what you see is what you get) but you still proceed to book the room and then whine and complain on TripAdvisor... More
