A new and beautiful hotel. The surroundings are cozy and quiet. No interference and suitable to those who are on honeymoon. However, improvements are needed for meals, swimming pool and their broadband facilities. The hotel also located far from the town area. Therefore, they require convenience stores to make it easy for the visitors to get necessities during their stay... More

Been going here for years and is an OK 3 star Hotel. The staff are very friendly and the sea side views over the marina toward Pangkor Island just wonderful. However given a choice i would now go to D'Ócean the newer twin next door also owed and run by Marina Island Resort. Better room layout and better appointments. View... More

The rate for this Apartment/Hotel is a bargain. The views are outstanding from the balcony. We enjoyed the morning buffet. So if you are looking for a place that has outstanding value and a beautiful view, this is the place. But this place is only a 3 star when it comes to the room. You get what you pay for.... More

Good comments: Price is reasonable, room is spacious and comfortable, located at strategic location near to pangkor (about 10mins boat riding to pangkor). Need improvement: Cleanliness in the washroom in best western (old building) have to be improve. Wifi is very weak - unable to connect wifi at all from check in time until check out time. all the bath... More

We are a family of four from the US (US dad, Malaysian mom). Our kids are a boy age 12 and girl age 10. We stayed in this hotel for 5 days and 4 nights. Overall, we feel the Best Western Pangkor hotel offered a real good value. As other reviews pointed out, the rooms are remarkably large. We found... More

The cleanliness was absolutely below any acceptable level, under several aspects. There were blood spots on the pillow, and they didn't change it, also the second day I was there. The light near to the bed (the only one easy reachable - the others are on the opposite side of the room, and some other people already wrote about the... More

The hotel is busy, no doubt..Busy with seminar goers. Everyone (including me) was attending some sort of seminar there. The hotel itself is on a failed reclaim property. There's literally nothing on the man made island except for this hotel and some restaurants that closes pretty early. So if your seminar runs late like ours did you would have to... More

It is a relatively new place, yet already a bit rundown. The entire Pangkor Marina Island seems to never really take off as a holiday destination. However, if you need to stay near the marina, this is still the place to go, as everything else is much further away. Worth noting that if you are coming there not from Malaysia,... More

It's one of the newer hotels in Lumut. The Marina Island development is built on reclaimed land and that sets it away from the main commercial centre of Lumut. Staying at this hotel is confortable and welcoming. The advantage of this hotel is the easy access to Pangkor ferry i.e. the Marina Island jetty.
