I came here for a family vacation and it was great value for money. The hotel is located at the central of town and is convenient to go to tourist spots and Ipoh's authentic food restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful and most importantly the rooms are clean. Would love to stay here again for my next trip down... More

Hotel is old and run down. Furniture and fittings in the room is not hotel standard. Carpets are torn. Shower curtain has mold stains all over. Swimming pool is closed. Breakfast choice is limited. Not a recommended hotel to stay in. Location wise is nearby town area but you need a car to move around.

From the entrance, one would have high expectations. The first room we got was smelly.....the second one was shabby and they got it right the third time.Since we were on holiday....better look at the bright side.....they accomodated our request three times. Good service! We relaxed at the coffee lounge to listen to music...waited for one hour till 12.30 midnight...only to... More

We stayed for one night in this hotel due to work. It was a very nice hotel however, they need to improve on parking as we ended up parking in UMNO building due to the misleading signage. The hotel has a clean, business-like feel suitable for all business people. The room was big and clean and service was prompt. We... More

1st impression, From car park to hotel lobby, one will need to take 2 flight of stairs with some walking distance. Hotel lobby is well decorated with beautiful marbles and well kept. My room is a bit shabby as it would require some repairs mainly in the toilet(broken tap, leaky pipe & the lower walls would need some scrub) and... More

The room is nice but not super modern. You could still see some traces of the old hotel, they used a wooden panel to hide unsafe electricity boxes and the edges of the sink seem old and dirty. It seems that they are currently renovating because the pool is closed (and we were really looking forward to the pool). Also,... More

This is a pretty average hotel. A bit run down and bits and pieces broken and decaying. Mouldy bathroom and shower curtain. Dodgy electrical outlets would be illegal in other places. Hard uncomfortable bed. Marks and stains on linen. Probably not many other choices in ipoh, just lower your expectations and you will be ok. Staff very friendly and hospitable.

Comfortable room with basic amenities. Room that I had was OK, just the room door was very heavy and hard to open and close. Hotel still using room key should upgrade and change to key card. Overall OK, just I have problem with the room bathtub.

Back again on my business trip. Took the Ramadan package which has good value. The Club Room allocated was comfortable as usual. Tried the Ramadan buffet where the selections are reasonable for a descent meal. I cannot compare with KL standard but of course the pricing is way cheaper than what I would have paid there. Overall, Impiana Ipoh is... More

I stayed here on a one night business trip to Ipoh. Arrived around midnight, the hotel staff were friendly and without much hassle got into our room. What bothered me is the room wasn't properly clean. There were blood spots on the carpet, a roll up socks in the cupboard, and a few more things that might have been left... More
