We stayed in 1 o'clock room. It was facing the main road so u could hear the noise from the streets. Try getting a room facing inside. Room can get a bit hot especially during the day, though air conditioner were on. Staffs, only two, I'm serious, are friendly and helpful. Clean rooms with very basic amenities. Only bath gel... This is my second time staying at Sekeping Kong Heng over the past 3 years and it was as pleasant as it was the first time. My family, all adults we on a road trip back to Penang and I insisted we must stay here for a night on our way home. I love all the Sekeping hotels and homestays... More

Don't expect it to be a high class hotel.. Normal expectation would do if you want to have some not so ordinary r&r.. They have a nice common area with TV and DVD player and a swimming pool in the next building..

You will adore this place! located in the beautiful town of Ipoh, a short walk away from the station. Is the perfect stop before reaching the Cameron Highlands. This beautiful hotel is the result of a renovation project by a group of outstanding architects Malaysians. We were greeted by a very nice indonesian guy . I recommend this hotel to... More

I stayed here with my wife and twin girls and whilst the rooms are not really geared up for families (we had to bring our own bedding for the girls) we did really enjoy our stay. The standard of the accommodation is relatively basic but clean and quite quirky - if you are after luxury this is not the place... More

After reading many reviews, I was worried about going to Sekeping Kong Heng. From the reviews I gathered, many people was complaining about the amenities and also the poor sleeping quality because of the Kong Heng coffee shop below. I actually frequent Kong Heng coffee shop and I do know how busy it can get. So, with all this in... More

Loved the concept and design - especially the way as much of the original building has been kept as possible. Also some nice modern design touches such as the showers. However I don't understand why only a thin see-through curtain is used to separate the toilet from the bed. Surely at least a thin wall could be used. The hotel... More

Locating the place is not as hard as locating a parking nearby, and the backward parking coupon system surely didn't make it easy for outstation people like us. But I was glad that we were there because the place is just awesome. There's a small library and an art gallery at the ground floor. The Big Group's Plan B is... More

It looks very special on the pictures but in fact, it looks kinda creepy to me with the old wooden walls, floors etc inside. It's more suitable for couple who love something random and new but definitely not for family. Especially the bathroom can only be covered with a thin curtain. Other than that, the soundproof there is terrible! There... More

If couples are looking for a random new experience, this is the place to be. It offered a mixture of and urban and rural lifestyle. Yes, the noise tends to get to you at times but besides that, the staff here are very accommodating and privacy is given priority. Secure from random outsiders and visitors, sekeping kong heng builds a... More
