We stayed at the deluxe suite for a 3D2N business trip and was amazed at the facilities provided over here. We had stayed at other hotels at Cherating before, but by far Legend Resort is still the best! The hotel is quiet, check-in was a breeze, friendly staff, has gorgeous and clean swimming pools, delicious selection of buffet breakfast, room... More

Overpriced. The pool and beach are great but rooms need a major makeover. So does the gym and sauna. As for the reception, they are like being forced into slavery. No smile and no greetings. They all need to attend a courtesy course in Thailand.

No greetings..room service is quite ok.. spacious room but odd school furniture. air-cond controller is not functioning, sleeping in cold but it doesn't matter because there's a balcony for fresh air with coast view, fortunately. and i saw cockroach for 2 times. one of that being in my bathroom. Well there's a lot of activities that you can do perhaps.... More

Very bad welcome by the receptionist at 10pm. Not even wearing a name tag or I'd mention it here. A very not-welcoming face with no greetings at all. As if we're some homeless begging for a stay at the hotel. How could someone like this be allowed to man the reception? Its the first point for guest checking in at... More

I wanted to show to my Dutch husband the East Coast of Malaysia and decided to book Legend since I stayed here about 10 years ago. It used to be one of the famous and luxury hotel in Cherating. Upon arrival, I can see the hotel has not changed much. We arrived at 2 pm and were greeted by Zulaikha... More

My wife and I have stayed in The Legend Cherating many times before and the reason for choosing this resort on our trips to Cherating was largely due to its big compound & comfortable rooms. This time, we checked for a 2 nighter. On arrival, we were faced with some communication difficulty with the foreign employee about my intentions to... More

An old, unpretentious resort with beautiful beach and swimming pools, friendly and helpful staffs-even the grass cutter offered to help me with my luggage, descent rooms with good basic necessities and delicious food. Love the arm chairs facing the sea with the bar playing some music-such a relaxing ambience. The best hotel in cherating i have stayed so far. Keep... More

It’s clean and well maintained, cheap and worth for money. Go for grand deluxe sea view with slightly higher price if not you going to miss the spectacular views. I love the green pools but sadly during my visit the pool was under maintenance, do take note only those with swimming suit are allowed in the green pool. Friendly staffs... More

This is our 2nd visit to this hotel and is still a decent resort for family with children. Just remember they don't have lift so with younger children, take the 2nd floor which is the same level as the lobby / restaurants. We took the 2-bedroom "Cempaka Suites". Large room with lots of space for kids to run around.
