The place is run down, shower leaking and furniture is very old. To me is more like a backpackers place. Not recommended for family holiday unless you don't mind to rough it out. Poorly maintained....nothing to shout about.

We went to Cherating at late evening when we couldn't get any hotel anymore. The cheapest I could find was Impiana Club Suit (about RM 1,000++) after all we drove into a guest house area. I would like to say, the first time I feel a place like "mini-langkawi" in Malaysia Peninsula. A small road to enter the beach with... More

Paid 402MR for two rooms and pretty much very basic for what you pay. Rooms were clean, bathrooms were in need of refurbishment. Close to beach but that's all that it had going for it. On arrival we paid for room, reception gave us towels and keys and pointed to our rooms but it took a good 5min to find... More

We stayed a night here from 2 - 3 November.. The room is just nicely cleaned and have all the basic requirements... We were having problem with slow water flow in shower. The showerhead flows very slow. By the way, we found the room very comfortable and clean.. The resort is not located next to the beach. You have to... More

We stayed here just before Hari Raya. Our room was spacious however it was not mosquito proof - every night before bed we had to try to kill them all. There was no place for the shower head to be held so had to hold above one's own head - not ideal! The reception staff, although friendly, weren't really very... More

I was working in Kuala Lumpur in 2010. My wife and I drove over to the East coast and found the Eastana Beach Resort in Cherating village. Don't bother to pay extra for air conditioning as there is always a cool breeze at night, so you just leave the windows open. The beach is a two minute walk away and... More

Checked in superior triple room on 9 Feb 2013 (peak season of chinese new year). Given room 913 on the first floor. 1. The wardrobe rail to hang clothes was missing from the wardrobe, requested at the front desk, no action taken. 2. Iron located at common areas, people passing by, which is not convenient (iron not allowed to be... More

I usually stay at Estana for the monsoon surf season. I have stayed here for the past 3 years and have seen the improvements over the years. Staff are friendly and helpful enough. Yes, ants and mosquitoes are still around but nothing too unbearable. Rooms are clean and basic (shampoo, soap, kettle also provided). Air con is cold enough and towels... More

It was a pleasant stay as the chalet is roomy enough for my small family of three. We stayed in the superior triple chalet which I found spacious enough. It was clean, with basic amnesties eg air cond, hot water, kettle. I love the simple design of the chalet. The staff was helpful, maybe can improved a bit in their... More
