I stayed at Liana’s on a tour package. The rooms were alright, each with two bunks and enough space. Some have fans and others A/C. Fan dorm rooms were RM10 per bed per night. The place had some friendly cats around and the girls that ran the place were friendly enough too.

The place was clean but the reason for the low rating is that the bathrooms were lacking. On the women’s side, I was often wading in water after the place was washed or sometimes waiting to use the one working shower out of four available. A guy came over from the men’s side to brush his teeth because he said their bathroom had no sink. The bathroom was just not at all appealing, though not terrible if you’re used to that standard. There were local girls that lived at that hostel and they were.

There’s plenty of accommodation available at Taman Negara. Unless I’m on a tight budget, I’ll choose elsewhere next time. more
