The hotel is exceptional in service and amenities. Rooms may not be the most elegant in a Small Luxury Hotel, but they are certainly comfortable with beautiful views of the golf course across the street. Probably selecting tan and beige for interiors is not the best way to avoid the appearance of wear over time. But, wow, service does make... more

This is a lovely colonial style resort! We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights which was just about right to spend in Cameron Highlands. The manager came to reception to greet us when we arrived to ensure that all our requirements had been met for our stay. One big plus point was the staff who were all extremely friendly... more

This is definitely the best hotel in Cameron Highlands and most probably the most expensive as well. The hotel is very beautiful, with colonial charm, the cold weather and the pine trees bring you closer to some city in Europe instead of M'sia. No major complaints about the room and the hotel as I didnt experience any noise issues. However,... more

Cameron Highlands Resort is the best hotel to stay at in Cameron Highlands. It has a lovely colonial feel and wonderful staff. The highlight of our stay was a guided trek through the tropical rainforest with the resident naturalist at the hotel. Shahril was incredibly knowledgeable and patient and we spent an enjoyable three hours walking through the rainforest with... more

We know better now than to drive up to CH on a weekend. We were stuck bumper to bumper for close to an hour from the stretch of road approaching Equatorial Hotel. But the ordeal ended the moment we reached CHR and were informed that we've been upgraded from a 2 room suite to the Cameron Suite. The suite was... more

The staff are wonderful, the hotel is beautiful and the nicest by far in the area, but the proximity to the road is a problem. If they could insulate the doors on the balconys of the rooms better then it would not be so bad. The noise from the road can be heard from early morning. The rooms are lovely... more

We were not quite sure what to expect from the Cameron Highlands. We picked this resort from the reviews on this site and were certainly glad we did. We hired a car and drove here from KL via the slightly twisty road. The actual area has not got much going apart from a really cool temperature, a tea plantation or... more

LOCATION: Excellent, not perfect. The only way it would be better is if you could walk to town (about a 4 minute, RM5 taxi ride) and if it was further away from a busy road. Well situated to nearly all tourist sites. Taxis are difficult to get after 9PM back to the hotel. BEST WAY TO GET THERE: Taxi, we... more

I just got back from a 3d/2n trip, staying in Cameron highland resort. This resort is so dissappointing, comparing to others YTL resorts, such as Pangkor Laut and Tanjong Jara. The rooms is very noisy, facing main road. I can barely sleep in the night. All rooms are facing main road, so I don't have a choice anyway. Rooms are... more

We were very impressed with this hotel. Having come from the Mandarin Oriental KL we were used to excellent service and standards and the CHR did not disappoint. We were greeted on arrival by the manager and experienced a relaxed check-in with refreshing flannels and tea. The manager took time to talk to us and we felt very welcome. The... more
