We stayed there and celebrated our Anniversary. We stayed in the Sora House. It's the best place to celebrate Anniversary because the place is very quiet. You can hear the dancing trees, the birds, the lizards and the friendly Gecko. Because it is not noisy, you can focus with your love one. The jungle is so green and we loved... More

It was a beautiful retreat outside of KL city. I was lucky and was able to book an overnight stay @ Perling Air House during the CNY weekend while my mom was still in the city. What I love about the place? It was a great place to rest and relax. We scheduled a pickup by Mohammad from the Seremban... More

Don't get me wrong - we had a lovely weekend - this is an idyllic retreat from KL. Quiet and serene. We did the jungle trek ending at the cooling waterfall and it was great. Our children loved The Dusun as did my in laws who accompanied us. We bbq in the evening and swam in the lovely pools, read... More

We are glad that you enjoyed the good things about The Dusun, but sorry that your experience was marred by some negatives. We have changed the mosquito nets and the kitchen equipment that is showing signs of wear. The Patio furniture is cleaned every morning, but it is the dry season now - and leaves fall. Sora House is for... More

Read the reviews before coming here and get ourselves mentally ready for the shortages. Surprisingly, everything is better than expectation. Water shower pressure - had been fixed and the shower experience is good and memoriable with the essential oil shower gel provided. Lighting in the house are sufficiently decent in the shower room as well as the surrounding; bright enough... More

We really do thank you for your comments. We have installed new garden lights all over the Dusun and are working hard to improve maintenance, so it is encouraging when guests notice the improvements. The Dusun is right in the heart of a healthy eco-system. But while most guests enjoy the fireflies and tolerate the frogs - and learn to... More

Stayed 2 nights at Sora House at the Dusun and because I had read a number of reviews and comments beforehand, we were prepared for our short getaway without any unwanted surprises. Sora House was the best choice for our group of 6, with 2 adults and 3 y.o in the master bedroom and 1 adult and 2 children up... More

I am very glad you liked the views, the pools and the food - and that you were lucky enough to see the moon rise. And I love your comment that the lizards, etc are the true inhabitants... Nevertheless, we very much want our guest to be comfortable. We will replace the net upstairs and check the bidets. We try... More

I stayed at the Tembusu house, which according to the history of The Dusun, was the first (or among the first!) to be built. It is also the highest at the peak of the dusun, it has a great view but kinda a walk up. Tembusu has an open concept where there is no front wall of the house (pretty... More

Thank you for this review. It is full of good advice. It is nice for guests to know that we have chalets that close up and some which are wide open. We can keep Maya at home if guests prefer that. We do put a lot of time into sourcing good products - like our Indochine all natural, hand made... More

Spent the last weekend at The Dusun with my family. Great place to be close to nature, clear your mind, your lung and to stay away from the gadgets. Back to the basics. Please be forewarned that this place works best for those who truly love and enjoy to be with the nature. It is quiet, peaceful and serene. Great... More

We stayed 2/1nite by Dec 2014 in Rumah Emas. We are total 5ppl. We drives follow the google map location that Helan, the owner email to me before our departure. At first, we are impressed with the view from the balcony. It's so beautiful! Helan said from here we can watched the whole Port Dickson. The house is open concept... More

We are glad that you liked Emas House and the rainy weather in December certainly creates some wonderful views of cloud and mist. We have fixed the shower now and our staff have been shown how to clean the filters on a daily basis. Because we source our water from a jungle stream, we have some problems with clogged water... As a couple we stayed for a few nights in the open concept house Tembusu. At first, I was a little sceptical about the open house in the middle of the rain forest, because of insects and the noise of the forest at night. However, the mosquitos didn't seem half as interested in us as I thought, and the sounds... More

We stayed in Perling Air in September and love the place and the relaxing environment. The room was tastefully decorated with 'kampung' rustic feel and the kitchen bar is very well equipped albeit small. I will say Dusun pretty much looks like a dream home of my mind. We had some hiccups when getting here as Perling houses have a... More

Thank you for this useful feedback. We are currently replacing all of the older linen with new bedding and towels, so that no-one should experience a bad pillow case again! The dog is not ours and so not under our control. We do need to change the balustrade on the deck, so that it cannot climb in, but that is... More
