3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Went over the weekend as a retreat from heavy city schedule to seek relaxation and generous supply of fresh air...which we did! So here are my comments: Pros: It's a totally different concept of away from city villas. If you feel like going back to nature with no traffic noise, this is definitely the place. The distance between one house... More

We are first time customer trying out this place after reading the positve reviews. Our stay could have been more great if the owner are not so rigid and just be more flexible on the so call rules by allowing my sil to stay as we are here to celebrate mother's bday. We won't create trouble with one additional person.... More

We stayed at Emas House, the view is spectacular and relaxing. The deer farm is just next to the Emas House. Staff is approachable. The massage was not great. The breakfast was nice. The staff will prepare the BBQ pit if you prefer to get your own food. Will return for a longer stay. The road to the property is... More

Gorgeous and quiet, with just you and nature together. I stayed in relative solitude, but the staff were approachable. The husband of the daughter of the owner is actually an electronic music producer of some repute, and the resort has actually served as a retreat for many artists.

Beautiful setting and views, delicious food and friendly and helpful staff. This was a perfect escape from KL; we just read and ate and swam and wandered about enjoying the scenery. Be warned: the Tembusu House is gorgeous, but doesn't have a fourth wall around the sleeping quarters.

We stayed at Sora house which is a fantastic. How I wish I could own such a house. Opening concept...embracing ourselves into the nature... Perfect getaway... As stated in their website, they are not a full service hotel. They pretty much left us alone after showing us the house. Great privacy... but you might feel not much of hospitality. Helen,... More

Stayed in Berembun for the third time & still loved it as much as the first time. Booked it 2 days before the actual staying date with no hiccups. Cee welcomed us and gave a brief tour again since he knows that we've been there before. Though it was full house for a weekday, we never had any disturbance from... More

Our disappointment started at the young man who said he works at the dusun. There was no warm welcome. What we were given a quick tour to our cottage. During our first dinner I only got one beer and my wife wanted to order wine. But the wine was sold only by the bottle, not by the glass. And then... More

dusun, Owner at The Dusun, responded to this review

It is unfortunate that you came to the Dusun with expectations of a full service hotel. As we make clear on the website and in the booking letter, the Dusun is ‘self catering’. We do not have a restaurant, but will prepare meals if ordered in advance. Cee, our Manager, greeted this couple and showed them their house. (This is... More

If you like to have a short trip away from buildings and cars, away from shopping malls and somewhere near to nature. Here is the place! We booked the Perling Air which have our own private parking space in front of our house and more privacy. The gate to Perling houses has an approximately 20-degree slope towards the parking space.... More

Room: Berembun house A perfect design for two with great view of the mountains. The couch on the verandah is perfect to laze and gaze at the stars. The pool is right next to house, so I could just dipped into the pool anytime of the day. The bathroom was equipped with organic shower gel and shampoo. I was impressed... More
