Theres not much to look forward to with the Tiara. The room, which was a 1 room suite looked run down. Cleanliness was only on the surface. The bed was reasonable but not the pillows. The bathroom seemed like it seen better days and the towels were smelly. The breakfast was similarly poor and you had to wait a long... More

Stayed here twice and enjoyed both stays. It has beautiful grounds, a lovely pool, a gym and nice outlets. The rooms are spacious, clean and have an old time charm about them. The hotel could refurbish its furniture though, of at least change the upholstery. Both my stays were on business trip and the staff, especially those at reception and... More

There's no sacrifice on service here. Beautiful pool and rooms but if you want modern, perhaps go somewhere else. It's not five star, but then I like the character that entails with helpful and friendly staff, safe and good food and comfort. My only complaint was there were no pancakes for breakfast :)

Room well found with everything I required. Toiletries could have been refreshed rather than topped up from previous occupant but everything clean and welcoming. Stayed at front of the hotel ground floor and suffered from no noise except the occasional aircraft (daytime) that I thought was coming to join me! (You are very close to the airport). Dinner in the... More

One thing you have to remember when in Labuan is that it is not going to be your polished holiday destination. Tiara Hotel is an above average place for Labuan but in the grand scheme of things it is pretty ordinary. The other thing you need to remember is that the pace of life is slow in Labuan... don't expect... More

I stayed in this hotel and paid quite a bit. I don't paying for a good stay. However the rooms were run down. I wanted to order something form room service could not find a directory nor a room service menu. The phone wasn't working. Flushing system wasn't working. The chairs in the room were in bad condition. The bed... More

Nice leafy setting and a stones throw from the sea, but getting run down. Lots of leaks through the roofs of the walkways, even a leak into the one bar. The food is not great and there is little to nothing on the menu for vegetarians, which my partner is. Shuttles to and from town making getting to and from... More

This is the best looking hotel from the outside in my one week business travel in Sarawak. The hotel has own fenced compound with rooms overlooking the ocean across a coastal road. Rooms are large but rather old and somewhat run down with worn tiles, cracked wash basin and tired looking furniture. But the pool and garden are well maintained... More
